BobbyBiscuit
Watching this just now on FootyDoctor (thanks Robo!), brilliant game. Spain look awesome, I really hope they FINALLY realise their potential next summer. Link to comment
BobbyBiscuit
Won 3-0. Looked ***king brilliant, and that's without Raul and Morientes playing for them. Their midfield was exceptional... Xavi, Abelda, Iniesta, Fabregas... They have a chance I think. Link to comment

Spain have been expected to do well in world cup and euros for so many yearsand never fail to flop.I wont hold my breath that 2008 will be any different. Link to comment

Every year, every single time a big tournament comes around I expect the Spanish to be there or there abouts.... On paper they have, IMHO, the best team in the world, and have done for a number of years. Unfortunately they are a bunch of spine-less bottle merchants - anyone putting their dough on Spain next summer is a fool. The winner will come from Italy, France or Germany. Business as usual.
