After a 2-1 victory of Arsenal at Old Trafford, Manchester United should be uncatchable in the race to be EPL Champions. Technically 7 points clear with 4 to play against Chelsea, Blackburn, West Ham and Wigan, I doubt Chelsea will stop them now. They've been awesome all season.

Said all along that Arsenal would not have the bottle when it came to the crunch.

They know nothing of the crunch!

"le crunch"?

A team that has one English player in their first 16 deserves not only to lose the title but be docked any rights into any league in these Isles

Shambolic and embarrassing

They play to the rules. How many English players play in the first team regularly for the top four or five teams in the EPL? Its comes down to the fact that English players are not as good as their counterparts from around the World. I think it would be far fairer on the other sides having a foreign player limitation again though, but until then its like watching the Harlems of football watching Man Utd.

And if it came down to it, I'd be happy not having a single Scotsman in Aberdeen's team if it meant us winning.

i'd be happy if we had a decent player playing for us at the moment.

Predicted couple of months ago that United will win it at Stamford Bridge. About time that unbeaten home record of Chelsea's was ended.

C: Terry, Lampard, J Cole, A Cole,

MU: Ferd, Hargreaves, Rooney, Scholes, Brown

L : Carr, Gerrard

That argument has gone straight out the window with speed

With a comment like that id be more than happy with no people South of the border, Stonehaven infact, supporting AFC ever again:laughing:

I would be personally be ashamed if Aberdeen didnt give local youth / Scottish players a chance.

Ashamed!

Where do you draw the line though? European players, British players, Scottish players, players from Grampian region, players from a 30 mile radius of the City centre?

And Man utd have started each game this season with 2 English players (on average), leaving 9 foreigners, the same with Liverpool. Not that much different to Arsenal? I'd have no problem with Scottish players getting the chance, but if they're not good enough, a better option must be found, as the success of the team is ultimate.

Wenger gracious in defeat again. Saying decisions have went against them and there's a conspiracy theory against Arsenal. Prick.

Amazing considering that Adeybayor handled it in to take the lead.

fergie's just as bad at times. agree with the poster who said Man Utd are their English team but only until Fergie retires. I love the man. This is now probably his 7th Man Utd team (arguably) and again arguably his finest yet. They have been an absolute joy to watch this season. Perfection in my opinion. Arsenal are too poncy and although pretty at times they cant match United when on form.

This season comes down to one man....Christiano Ronaldo. I've lost count of the times this season that he's been the difference with vital goals.

No way, surely not?

Brown and Rio have started most games and so has Rooney and so has either Scholes, Carrick or Hargreaves?

I will always have time for Man U as long as Ferguson is in charge.

The greatest manager of all time and we were lucky enough to have him for 6 years! It's stating the obvious I know but also worth pointing out at times.

When he eventually retires from the job they will be just another team to me.

Me too, BC. In fact I think winning the EPL last year, against the millions of Chelski, managed by Mourinho, was his greatest achievement, behind a little matter on 11.5.83 of course. I didn't think they would have stood a chance last year but they kept on winning and grinding out results. Hope they do it again this year. Wouldn't be surprised if Chelsea win the big one at Stamford Bridge but would be surprised if they slip up tonight, even though it's 0-0 at HT away to Wigan.
