I've tried my fair share, used to stick to the old Colombian pooder as I preferred that to anything else.

 

I'm now at the age where kids will be my next venture in life and I don't want my kids anywhere near the shit so I don't want to be near it, my mates do a bit of sniff, but that doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I once took an E in the Hoochi Coochi and felt so good that I said in my head to god that he could strike me down now as I'd never beat that feeling, I meant it! what I'd give for an old school snowball these days, they were great! off your head dancing all night and you felt brilliant in the morning for work even though you'd only slept half an hour.

 

And if I'd written down some of the ideas I've thought up whilst stoned I'd be a billionaire, problem was always finding a pen and paper, I even used to struggle to find the pot as my cunning hiding place I thought up when stoned always outdid the non stoned me! I used to fear a drugs dog coming in the house as it would find 50 small bits of pot cunningly hidden!

 

I don't regret any of it.

The other good thing is it makes tv fecking brilliant, you could be watching a documentary about goat herders in outer Mongolia and you'd be gripped by it!

 

Best combination was pot at a party after you'd been on an E, I've seen 5 people in a conversation all discussing different things then it dawns on you that everyone is speaking shite...including you, you take a pause then everyone says......what were we talking about?! :confused:

Used to get something very close in Holland, 10 of them 'accidentally' made there way back to Aberdeen in my consignment of furniture. Took them to a mates leaving do and passed them out to a chosen few, was great seeing peeps I used to go to the peli with sitting gurning again. Felt a bit ropey the next day though, think the ability to go to work the next day dayts leave along with being in the early 20's

 

I'm living the clean life now, dont even smoke weed anymore. Dont recognise myself... Its not a lifestyle choice as such, just the stuff here isnt worth the filthy you pay for it. Grass is over priced, they call anything half decent cheese and charge a fucking fortune for it when its piss poor haze to me and the cheaper stuff is wet at fuck and sold by triads so thats a no. Coke is utter dire here, I'm allergic to ket these days, brings me out in a rash and pills dont have any MDMA in them so I'd rather just keep my hard earned in my hipper.

 

Dont regret anything I've done, enjoyed it all for the most part and to go against all the usual conventions I managed to hold down a job since I was 16 bar a couple of months here and there. I'm not for one second going to say it didnt effect my life in any way but it didnt have any more of an impact that going out and getting plastered on a Saturday night and a lot of the effects IMO have been positive.

 

Aye FS, drugs can be bad but like everything else if its done the right way then they can be perfectly safe and a shit load of fun.

Since the age of 16 I've only signed on once, did it for 6 Months, it was lifestyle choice as I had money and didn't need to work, best 6 Months of my life!

 

I've never missed work through drugs, have missed many days through drink, called up with Flu and Colds when I was hungover.

 

I do think they affect your brain and i'm not so confident as I used to be but for all the good times i've had I wouldn't change things, maybe I'm, just getting old and thinking the drugs had an affect!

 

On a mystery bus to a rave in a barn god knows where was the best, great days.

My god that brings it back! What a fucking shape me and my mates used to get into talking absolute pish but loving every minute of it. Whilst I respect people who have never touched drugs I feel sorry for them too, they'll never experience the capers and can never begin to understand just how funny it was. Some of the best days of my life, certainly the funniest and without doubt the most exciting.

Last time was the dead rangers game just before Christmas when we got beat 2-1. Was clean out of my nut at half time and in the bogs having a sneaky smoke and a cheeky line or two of bolivian. When I came out it was pointed out to me that I'd a bad case of disco foam. You know when your mouth gets all white and frothy at the sides because you've been chewing too much.

Aye but they are openly advertising the fact that drugs will be consumed on the premises at a certain date and time, so presumably the rozzers could raid the studio if they saw fit. Although they may be playing the 'in the name of science' card and dodging it that way.

There are medical get out clauses for this type of stuff. All done in the name of research.

 

They just wouldn't advertise when they were filming it and make sure the gear was not "supplied" by anyone.

 

They aren't likely to arrest every Channel 4 employee.

Wonder how they get hold of the gear (obv not a problem in the media industry), but can see the producers telling some junior runner to go out, source it and road test it to make sure it's up to scratch before using it on live tv

I find that astonishing given how you are probably the biggest music and festival fan I think I've ever met.

 

Fair play to you though as I can imagine with the amount of festivals you've racked up you must have had some amount of exposure to it.

I was at my 12th T in the Park this year and my only exposure or experience of drugs was when a random bird gave me half an e and I took it cos i was pissed. Didn't feel a thing from it (she was out her nut on the other half) and that was my only drugs encounter at T, which is weird considering it's everywhere there. I just don't see it or notice myself (prob just too pissed to notice what other folk are on/doing!)
