Dazzler
Fiorentina for me, fell in love with the passion of the fans when I was in Florence last year. Find it quite funny how many Juve fans are on here, considering how they are the closest thing to Rangers in Italian football in terms of glory hunters and football sportsmanship (or lack of it) Forza Viola Link to comment
Kilkito
LAZIO! Had so many great players when the Italian football started on Channel 4, great strip as well, Signori(although still preferred Eoin Jess ) was a hero of mine Ive got the shirt, t-shirts, caps, a scarf, and DVD's Went to the curva nord 2 years ago to see them play AC Milan, they lost 5-1 and the atmosphere, even though there was only 25,000 there was amazing. They play a song at the start of every game, non mallarei mai, been told it means "never give up" everyone in the whole stadium sings it with the scarfs twirling and the flags waving, its quite something, some great vids of it on yout tube, particularly before Roma games. Great thing about the Italian football is calling the bloke over who sells beers, sitting at the footy with a fag and a pint, theres nothing better There fans get a bad press, as has been mentioned on here, have to say when I watched them I didsn't see one facist symbol or nazi salute. I've been to Barca v Real Madrid, where the Madrid fans had swatikas all along the front of their section, their whole section doing nazi salutes, whilst they knocked bits of concrete from the stadium and then threw it down 4 tiers to where we were standing, but their fans dont seem to have the same reputation. Because they are a big club. Anyway, everyone knows Juve and Fiorentina don't get on. How can anything be compared to the huns? You could say Lazio are like them - right wing. Or Napoli - fans are scum... I enjoyed watching Juve absolutely destroy the huns in the CL in the 90;s. Link to comment
Kilkito
I enjoyed watching Juve absolutely destroy the huns in the CL in the 90;s. Those were happy days, 8-1 on aggregate I think it was. I remember the League cup semi at hampden against the huns, it was a great night, up there with my favourite games, the number of Juve scarfes and tops that night in our end was incredible! Was around the same time we played them at Ibrox and Jess hit that cracker in the top corner from 25 yards at our end Link to comment

baldrick_sheep
Parma, the only reason was that one of my mates at school was a juve fan and parma were decent at the time. Dont really look out for their results anymore but like other folk on here, used to watch football italia on C4 every saturday morning to see them! Link to comment
lethal707
I'm going to say Palermo because I got sacked from the Everton job in Footy Man during my 4th season a while back and Palermo were the first team to offer me a new job. If it wasn't for them my family would not have a roof over there heads!!! I went on to win the Uefa Cup and 2 Italian cups. They are planning on putting a statue of me outside the ground Link to comment

chaos_defrost
Actually it is a poor reason, it was because in 2000 they had an amazing team, Veron, Nedved, Nesta, Crespo etc. and that is why I liked them, what a team they had. I thought you hated glory hunters?! Link to comment
