Chris Chrighton in the P&J today reckons we would be able to get compensation for Sone if he goes in June, based on his age.

After the 2-2 v. Bayern, there was some affa sh*te posted about him. He got wiped out by Lahm in the second half. I said Sone wasn't good enough to ever start 3 EPL games back then, when his employer was an EPL club. He's a lightweight with the heart of a mouse. He's a fraud who flatters to deceive. He is f**k all.

I don't like when he starts, but used to think he was a good impact player like coming on for last 30 minutes when need someone to break through or someone to keep the ball but lately i just think he couldn't give a sh1te

Exactly gives around 3 acceptable performances and 1 good performance the rest of the time is either spent being injured or just in general f**king sh*te.

very harsh, ryan jack has hardly kicked a ball and I dont see any posts about him......... the poison flung at some players is disgusting, where is the thread on derek young who continually wasted possession and couldnt find a team mate with a pass

Not a great fan of Sone either TBH, but agree about Jack.

 

For me I feel his form has seriously dipped and we can't afford to try and play him through it.

 

Freshen up for Saurday and change him out with Pawlett or Paton out wide.

Thats the point time to give Jack a rest he hasnt been up to it recently, which is understandable , we had many passengers last night.

Aluko was marked out the game last night. As soon as he got the ball at least 2 utd players were right on him.

I prefer to see Aluko in a more central roll, just behind the strikers. He very rarely produces the goods in wide positions against decent full backs.

No idea how much poor games the loon has to have before dropped form team. But totally agree some players get abuse no matter how they play and others are untouchable.

Jack is a young player which generally means you will get inconsistency and such players should ideally only be used irregularly. Our problem is that we have too few half-decent players. Sone can get marked out of the game easily - it hardly takes a tactical genius to look at our squad and go - right double mark Aluko for the first half - they're unlikely to produce much from the rest... and so it proved.

 

Aluko does let his head drop - but he was the only flair player we had - any organised side was going to mark him out - sadly he is not good enough to overcome it nor was our midfield good enough to spread play and make space for him. Aluko usually gets the brunt of the stick when the midfield fails. In a better side Aluko would flourish more.

Our whole midfield were utter hoop last night. Vernon would have been as well sitting in the stand considering he was feeding off scraps the whole night. That said though i'm certainly not making Aluko a scapegoat but he has done this far too much i.e disappear in matches. Totally ineffective. Jack does need dropped for Saturday too.
