Semi Final Hangover

Woke up this morning feeling just as gutted as i felt last night. Too reach two semi finals in a season is a good achivement but the manner in which we've been beaten in both has left me absolutley deflated. However like the morning after a heavy night on the lash, I know I'll be back down Pittodrie for the rest of the season.

Exactly. Beaten semi finalists is no achievement, anyone who thinks so has the losers mentality.

Would have much rather not had either semi finalist, we have been embarrased in both on national telly and have officially became bitches of Celtic football club.

 

No good has come from either semi, just more anger and frustration and how pathetic our team is.

still gutted. thought luck was going to go our way for a change apart from considines sending off but the first half was impressive and second half we just crumbled.

The cup runs have papered over the cracks and it maybe looks like 2 semis is a decent enough achievement but when you look at it in detail we've beaten Raith, Falkirk, East Fife and Dunfermline at home. All games we should be winning anyway. The only away tie we had was away to St Mirren and for a quarter final you really couldn't complain with that draw. This season has been almost as big a shambles as last imo.

No-one would fall for a papering over of the cracks. Everyone knows this season, just like most in the past 15 years is unacceptable.

 

They also cannot roll out the season ticket sales means we get better players line as the fans won't buy it (or them).

 

A big Summer for the Board. They really will have to speculate if we are going to get anywhere.

You're probably right. At least last year there was the optimism of Kerr and McDonald nearing the end of their contracts and the hope that we'd find better replacements. I don't have much optimism at all for the future now.
