tup
Good, now we need some decent players to show some pride in wearing the f**king thing. Link to comment
rossafc92
Looks like it's not just template supplied crap but a little bit of unique design will go into it as well judging by Duncan Fraser's comments. Link to comment
StandFree1982
All well and good, but having good packaging doesn't sell a bad product!! New Stadium, New Kits, New Dons! Let's get it sorted AFC. Link to comment
Pash
But you still canna buy it in sports shops? Link to comment
StandFree1982
But you still canna buy it in sports shops? That needs to get canned! Maybe Adidas will decide that they want our kits to be sold more widely. Link to comment
tup
It needs to be sold in as many outlets as possible, the alternative has been an absolute marketing disaster, internet sales hardly reach out to young kids, they want to see the red displayed proudly in shop windows. Link to comment

Aye, at the very least get the AFC shop moved from Bridge Street to somewhere like the Bon Accord Centre. Far too hidden away where it is now. Pleased about the Adidas deal though. Link to comment
Pash
Delighted it is adidas and not some pish like macron. Link to comment
DD1903
Brilliant. But lets get dons tops back in every shop possible. I know folk who starting supporting Aberdeen when they were kids purely because they loved the top at the time (the JVC umbro ones) - they saw the top in the shop, liked it, moaned at their folks til they eventually gave in and the rest is history... NorthernLights24
A nice bit of news. JustSport were f**king sh*te. I had a number of items where the pockets fell to bits in a matter of days and one jacket fell to pieces within a few weeks. Link to comment
ChookterDon
Very excited to hear this piece of news and I hope dons tops are available in more outlets around scotland! This would make us the only club in the SPL with addidas as our kit marker, for now, and its something to be proud of! Link to comment
Site Sponsor RTYD Posted April 21, 2011 Site Sponsor Share Posted April 21, 2011 http://www.afc.co.uk...2212158_2343405 Good. It's also about time that they were running the whole retail business themselves. It was nonsense that they let another business do it. Link to comment
dj_bollocks
It was time for a change - hopefully might instill a bit of creativity in the club product again... I'm always severely underwhelmed with most of the product in the club shop. Link to comment
oilcat
With the 30th Anniversary of the ECWC win on the horizon this could also tie into actual replica shirts made by Adidas being available for sale Much more opportunity for Adidas merchandise, Nikes range was crap and the quality was suspect Link to comment
RUL
Great news, finally have some decent kids kits too as the infant range from Nike was shocking. Link to comment
Jazzer_Bett
Sweet Jesus Christ-! I can't quite believe this! Dream come true - and its directly with Adidas, nae just sport rubbish. Link to comment

Far too hidden away where it is now. Pleased about the Adidas deal though. I have been in the Bridge Street one a few times and I have yet to be in the shop at the same time as any other customers. Not a location that people are going to walk by and decide to have a wee look around. There are enough units in the shopping centres and Union Street which would surely be a lot better for the club, especially with the exclusivity thing they have going on. As for the deal, good news. Fingers crossed for a bonny strip next year. Link to comment

I think that might be a bit on the ambitious side, unless Adidas are planning on churning out a shitload of merchandise for us. Link to comment

I wonder if the club owns the Bridge Street premises, surely they wouldn't continue to lease such a pish location. Link to comment
ScottishJohn
"Legacy" is something they've been saying. Hopefully not the same type of shorts from back in the day. Link to comment
