Did very well for a time, but his legs had clearly gone in his last season. It has to be said that giving him the Captain's armband was a mistake and it clearly affected his game. The fact he failed at Watford is testament to the fact that he was already past it when he left us (allegedly he liked the fags, as well as the booze, so it's hard to sympathise with a Professional athlete who abuses his body in such ways).

Making him captain was a mistake. He was our second best player at the time, which is the only reason he got it. The biggest mistake for me though was putting him in defence to cover for when russ left and keeping him there. He was an ok defender but lost his sharpness and didn't slot back into midfield well. It should have been a short term move, but he pretty much remained there for the rest of his time.

Good player until pace seemed to rapidly disappear.

Thought he was a pretty honest pro and decent type too.

This is the guy who would claim he had an injury during the week so as to avoid training and would announce his return to fitness on a Friday. No wonder he was hanging out of his arse in games.

HAHAHAHAHAHA WISE UP

You are a fool. The minute Scott played for Aberdeen we were 4th. The minute he left we were bottom six.

Aberdeen fans slagged the guy off towards the end, yet he was still a good player. Now what have we got now? Rae?, Hughes, and Chris Clark!

Some Aberdeen fans just don't have an eye for a player.

Even the Aberdeen fan who commentates for ESPN ageees with me.

I loved the guy for the first few season he was here, but there is no way he was better than Russell Anderson.

When Anderson was at his peak he was magnificent - maybe my red-tinted spectacles are influencing my judgement, but at that time he'd have been in my Scotland first XI.

Regarding Seve, towards the end, his lack of pace was a real problem at the back - he also gave the ball away far too much, trying unrealistic, hollywood passes. It was sad to see, but Seve definitely left at the right time - he was becoming a liability.
