Foster14
A new squad should be afforded time to mould before being written off as relagation candidates/battlers and no more. There is nothing to get carried away with to any length either way yet. There are positive signs (some more in the last 2 games, and there were in some of the games before) and there are some negative signs (again still some while winning and some while losing). With many new additions to the squad and some others (Fyvie, Mackie & Pawlett to a degree) returning from injury, this is largely a bunch of players who have had little experience of playing together. Like McGhee before him last year, some time should be given to bring a new team together and hopefully unlike McGhee, the team will come good, and the positive signs come to fruition and some of the negatives be left behind. Nothing to get hysteric about yet. Link to comment
Redstar
A recurring theme would appear to be an overall lack of fitness...which is totally unacceptable for an SPL side hoping to survive let alone prosper in the league. It's a poor show, and a good indicator that not only are some of the team letting down AFC but as profesional players are letting themselves down badly.I'd be looking at the training methods the Management are employing that allows for this type of basic requirment of a supposed professional athlete to have been missed off the pre-season. Stoney
Maybe its because they didnt get a full pre-season under their belts Link to comment

Stoney
You would be the first, got torn to shreads for saying we would struggle at the start of the season if we didnt get players in and fit in time for the first few games. Link to comment

RAZOR
Better watch what i say or you and your mates might batter me, of course if the kids arnt there. ,careful he might throw an angry look your way while his kids are messing with Angus. As echoed above, first 20 mins we looked to be in secure control. Got the goal then that was it. Fyvie? who? Still cant see what all the fuss is about. But certainly more effective in the middle but not as good as Milsom,Osbourne,Folly,Arnason. I predict a loan. Pawlett, usual runs from one flank to the other providing optimism but usually ends up rolling about the ground with the ball heading in the other direction. Foster had a BETTER game tonight. Thought Considine deserved MOTM though. Osbourne looked neutered(sp?) perhaps Brown will give him his balls back for Sunday. Didnt like Clark when he was here first time so not surprised by the stick (and rightly so) hes getting. Big ask for the next few games. Link to comment
Ernie McCracken
I know that highlights can distort things but having watched Red TV it looks like Dundee were lucky that it wasn't 3 or 4 nil. Looks like we played some really good stuff! Just wondering if the last 15 / 20 minutes and the fact it was only 1-0 has influenced the negative reports? If anything having watched that, the worry is that we still aren't finishing! It looks like we should have been 4-0 up long before the nervy 20 mins at the end of the game. Link to comment
