Podge
Since it's all doom and gloom around here (with good reason) I got to thinking who would I support if Aberdeen FC ceased to exist for whatever reason. Although in creating this thread it doesn't sound like so much fun anymore! I'm not sure who I'd go for, maybe a team like Ross County just for the heck of it. Or maybe ICT since they're another northerly team... then I'd be in the same situation where I'd hardly ever go to home matches though probably. So, who would you support if AFC disappeared for some reason? I guess a lot of people will come back with either a) whatever team would replace them of b) stop talking shite! (mind this isn't me saying we're doomed, just a hypothetical situation ) Link to comment
dunc_afc
No one, would keep following Scotland for a while but I imagine my interest in them would wane until the point where I just completely gave up all interest in football Link to comment
Bobby Connor
Easy. County, but with serious reservations about Roy MacGregor. Link to comment
minijc
Would probably give up on Scottish football, go to the odd game down in England, go over to germany and that too and just watch teams over there, spend roughly the same as you would at a dons game, I'd also follow other sports, mainly MMA and MT. Dynamo
Man United probably. I'd be an armchair supporter, one of those cunts that's ruining the game. Aberdeen do exist though, I go to most games and support them Link to comment
Betty Swallicks
I'd just give up. Pretty much like now really. Link to comment
dervish
I have to be honest, I've no idea prob pick an english team. Not a man u or city but maybe like villa/spurs though I do like the man u attitude just couldn't bring myself to be a man u fan at all, maybe pool dunno. Would need to be a team that doesn't win much otherwise I just dunno how I'd handle it. Would be as weird as if we were winning everything, I dunno if I could handle that either. Link to comment
zander
Probably highland league, Peterhead etc just general football fan. Link to comment
vanderark14
Fraserburgh & Scotland just as I already do. Link to comment

SkyeDon
Unthinkable. I don't think I could support anyone else. Link to comment
RUL
I wouldn't stop watching football but I would defo not "support" anyone else. To be honest, we've been so bad for years I am not sure I have "supported" AFC much. Link to comment
delta1red
I'd maybe try Gretna 2008 as they're my home town team Link to comment
centraldon
Rangers or Celtic probably. Link to comment
StandFree1982
There will ALWAYS be an Aberdeen. If we went under then another form of us would come back, Aberdeen United or something. So I would support them. Link to comment
Redstar
Thanks Milne you've forced this question to be asked...you've fucked AFC you fucking idiot thanks for that...you have destroyed AFC you idiot!! Link to comment
Jute
Would not support anyne else but would probably go to local non league games and the odd game in England and Europe. Pretty much what I am doing now. Link to comment

GK55
Probably Formartine United and would travel to some Premiership games Link to comment
Just Jack
Queens Park? Get to go to Hampden all the time (L) In all seriousness i'd probably go to Formartine, free entry as im a youth player at the club, or Peterhead who are a 10minute drive away. Link to comment
Stoneybloke
Having been a supporter of Aberdeen since my early teens, I could not contemplate supporting any other team. It's been a part of my life for far too long and I will never forget the 1970 cup final when we beat Celtic. I can still remember the euphoria now. A true supporter could never switch allegiance. They may take an interest, but that's all. Link to comment
Bobby Connor
Rangers or Celtic probably. Link to comment
Stoneybloke
Rangers or Celtic probably. If that's a joke, it's hilarious Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
I'd support Edinburgh city since am here anyway but would likely also go to a few Premiership games & games abroad again.Would also probably have to adopt the Broch as well cos of the wife I'm done with Aberdeen til some kind of divine intervention happens now. Just had it cos all the club does for me now is perform as I expect them to perform. Sad that they cannot even surprise me anymore you know? like they used to when they LOST now & then to the the shite teams? They cannot even surprise me with a bloody WIN now a days. 35 year old & more than half my Aberdeen supporting life has been SHITE! Even the 80's aren't enough to justify this now. Link to comment
centraldon
If that's a joke, it's hilariousI hear they are pretty good. Not sure either blue or green are my colors though. Possibly blue a bit more. But then I'd have to get a tattoo, put on loads of weight, and act dead think in front of everyone. And I'm not sure my knuckles could reach the floor. And I don't really like wearing football tops in public. And rioting isn't really my thing. And I was never much use at playing the flute. Or marching. Maybe Celtic then. Or the Albion.
