Jack_Glass
Read numerous posts on here, even from the JC / MM era ref picking a side and sticking by it instead of constantly rotating players and their positions. Do you think after two wins barring injuries / suspensions that CB has listened to what the fans have been saying for years? Link to comment

Do you think after two wins barring injuries / suspensions that CB has listened to what the fans have been saying for years?I think the only reason he's kept the same team for the past two games is because he couldn't actually justify not doing so. Brown was the first to admit in the post-match interview that there is every chance of a change in selection and formation for the Celtic match so I think we'll see him return to his usual cautious self. It's a shame really as continuity seems to be key, especially in the back four and midfield. Link to comment
Old Wing Stand
We should stick to the same team that started on Saturday as they are arguably our best eleven and in any case we don't have many decent players as who could replace any of them Link to comment
Gover
I have hope that Chalali will start in place of Fallon for our two OF games. Dont think Vernon and Fallon will work considering their partnership hasnt really created much in terms of goals. Having said that, i do have this tiny gut wrenching feeling that Mackie might make an appearance......... Link to comment
Jack_Glass
If Brown plays Mackie, McCardle or Clark ahead of anyone who's played in the last two games and we lose (which is likely regardless of selection) then I'm sure we'll see many folk on hear with negative opinions on CB's selection policy. Rotation is ok when you have a big squad, a quality bench and useful if you are playing in all competitions. We're out of one cup and not in Europe, so I think continuity should apply. Like someone stated above, I got sick of us changing our system, keep what we have and make the other teams change their formations, especially at home. I'll honestly despair if Mackie is offered a new contract. Link to comment

Their partnership created a hatrick in the Pars game Chalali is as yet unproven & OF games are not exactly the games to see if he can prove himself from the start imo. Link to comment

Get the rubbish out or offer them a very small contract to stay on, then use the extra cash to enhance the team. If Mackie get's another contract, nice guy or not I won't be happy. He's a 2nd Div player at best. Link to comment

We couldnt have asked for a better time to play the OF so why not go with what we have had last two games and put it to the test, two convincing wins (which is unheard of for Aberdeen) so why not keep at it, even if we lose we can still go with it against teams outside OF, I'd happily go a whole season with that line up if it meant we beat every team outside OF then at least challenged the OF when it came to them games. Celtic will be more nervous than us considering their last couple games and the fact we've been playing well. Link to comment
StandFree1982
Celtic definitely are under pressure to win the game, we should be heading there looking to ruffle some feathers and hopefully see another Mulgrew howler! Link to comment
Jazzer_Bett
Picking The Same Team is it really that simple If he'd listened to me and done so we wouldn't be out of the League Cup. The team that should have beaten Killie - would have fucking rodgered East Fife. Whilst that was an act of sheer arrogance and disrespect to John Robertson - I think Mr Brown likes the idea of keeping the other team guessing, as he alluded to on RedTV when looking to the Sellick game. That said he has got to fine wins becuase he's left his team alone. Dinna fucking touch it min, don't care if its Sellick - why should we change it for them!! Link to comment

I have to say, I doubt Celtic will be at all nervous going in against a team that they routinely smash into the ground without breaking a sweat. But maybe I have my reverse psychology all mixed the fuck up and all. Not sure that I do, though. Link to comment
