Can't be flight paths, or any kind of global representation, given that representation would be indicating points on land, in the ocean or in unpopulated areas. So I'd suspect it's instances generating outwards from a focal point to a predetermined, but limited, radius. Like from a city centre to a 10 mile radius.

And given the instances of red occur most often in the centre, lessening the further you travel from the center, is it representative of distribution of something within a set distance?

a peacock autopsy after it's been hit by a steamroller?

No.

flight paths around the world??

No.

is it a map of Aberdeen, and the dots are Wiliie Millers creditors

No.

I've always liked you Ke1t - you've got a solid head on you.

Certainly related to a distribution of something - little or nothing to do with distance however.

Hint: Note how the lines connecting the dots are inter-related, and the red dots have the greatest degree of inter-relation...

That's bizarre... it depicts distribution, but not by distance, so then by frequency? Meaning it's a really fucked up graph, rather than a map?

Could be anything... my first thought it was biological. Is it some kind of biological or genetic distribution?

Fuuuuuuuck.

Sorry, maybe i've been a bit misleading.

The spatial distribution of the dots with respect to one another is related to the distance between them in the real-world, but that's not what the graph (and it it is a fucked up graph as opposed to a map) describes.

Distance isn't the important thing here, it's the degree of inter-linking between the dots.

Definately not biological. This f*cked up phenomenon is certainly man made...

Then I'm guessing social networking, the lines depicting relationships (Friends) within a network... Facebook probably, that being the only one anyone ever talks about, if I'm right?

No - but good one.

Tommo1903 is getting dangerously close with his oil idea.

Take this idea, develop it, combine it with what you've got already, apply some ke1t logic and you should get there before the night is out...

Edit: The idea of inter-relation within a network is good. Getting warmer.
