The Oban fireworks display was supposed to last half an hour and be accompanied with music.

 

Unfortunately due to a technical hitch, all the fireworks were released within a minute.

When I worked in a shop only big mongol looking weirdos came in to buy them...... I was a lidl in Glasgow so most folk were mongol looking!

 

Anyway what I want to know is when did bonfire night change to fireworks night?

The night the authorities stopped unauthorized bonfires, cunts.

 

 

Was all a part of growing up, going round all the local houses getting scrap for the local bonfire, onything and everything was used, and old car tyres being the holly grail for extra black reek, and daring raids on the rival bonfire stock pile, to either steal or set the pile alight, leaving them in a mad dash to collect more scrap before 5/11
