I've lived in 2 so far. Me and the ex had a cracking 2 bedroom flat which we both loved. But we had a couple of young Bonzo's and had to move. Bought a 3 bedroom house about 200 yards from the flat. I'm currently back at the folks while my ex has the house.

Haha, it is a fine Indian restaurant and that was some trippy shit when it turned into a nightclub, bizarre - really bizarre, but the place was full of fucking Huns - and I was always falling out with them.

 

It was a shit place to stay IMO.

 

Im gan out in ellon for a few on saturday after the pars game so no doubt end up in the curry club

Since leaving home at 16 I have had 3 flats in town. Then as I had met the wife we stayed at her mums to save cash for 1 year. We then moved to Ellon where we had 2 houses 1st was a 3 bed and the 2nd was a 4 bed

 

Now moved south of the city into a new 3 bed house

 

So thats 7

lasted a year and sold it was a 5g profit! even though i was a brand new estate it was next to one of the roughest area (near Airdrie's stadium) in Airdrie! havent been back since!! horrible place!

Stayed at the future in laws for a spell before buying a flat in Dubford at 22 and my house in Danestone at 24. Been there for 13 years.

 

I can only envisage moving when Mrs O finally turfs me out.

Same everywhere though. I have done a few of the towns round about Aberdeen and they all have their fair share of weirdos. Despite living in Ellon till I was 20, and going back weekly till I was about 22, I have never had any issues on a night out. Though, I wouldn't be an outsider.

 

Couldn't be doing with living in a place like Ellon until family reasons made it worthwhile. Much prefer having everything on your doorstep.

 

As for the original question. One flat rented since I left home, 4 1/2 years ago. Part of me regrets not saving more and buying at the time, the rest of me is happy that I broke loose at that age (not that my parents had any issue with my comings and goings).

Lived in more flats/houses in the last 6 years than I have in the 30 before that.

6(I think...) in 4 different towns/cities. Actually if you include spells of 3 months + would include maybe 2 more cities and loads of extra places just living in hotels for work.
