We Are Where We Are

This is neither for or against our management team.

The good stuff

Arnie

Milsom

Ozzie

Considine getting a chance in his position

Safeguarding last season after McGhee

The bad stuff

Foster as captain

Clark

Mackie even getting changed

Negativity

No full backs

There will be lots more for both camps I'm sure and stuff which could go either way, such as Chalali and Fallon.

However the title says it all, we are where we are, bottom of the league.

The big picture from now on is that the club must, absolutely must have a consistency of performance on and off the park.

If Broon is to remain the man then he must firstly start winning and secondly get a level of performance from the players which will entice the supporters to come back, so ultimately he (or his successor) has to entertain. THAT Frankie my friend was why JC was binned, lack of entertainment. Nothing to do with Hunnery, or being fat, or blubbering or being orange.

It's an entertainment business and whilst there are those in the support where results are all that count they are insufficient in numbers to allow the club to make a profit year on year, which is where the off field stuff has to be aimed. The club must become sustainable, with reserves being put aside year on year. For that to happen we need:

A consistent top four position, at worst;

Cup finals and wins

and ultimately, from a consistent approach a real ambition to TRY to win the league. Dumbing down and "Top 6" pish will get us nowhere except the bottom half of the SPL and the occasional visit to the SFL.

Milne, sort it out.

I can't find much to disagree with in the list. I'd add the lack of creativity and width to the demerit section and keeping Ricky Rangers as our captain after his comments. Sadly the downside is stacking up to be more than the merit side and shows no sign of changing. A win or 5 would help but for me I'd be arranging his departure now.
