daytripping
the little fucker had ample opportunity to get off when asked and declined by telling the conductor to fuck off. he got what he deserved - thrown off. The conductor should have called ahead and the fare dodger picked up by the transport police. Link to comment
RabidGiraffe
Would the "big man" have attempted to move the ned if he was of equal size or bigger? Link to comment

He got what he was due, chucked off and a few grazes. Dinna act the big man when you're just a wee man. Lesson learnt. Link to comment
vanderark14
The conductor should have called ahead and the fare dodger picked up by the transport police. and as we have been told already by a guy that works for scotrail - the conductor would have probably been told to leave it. About time little cunts who expect everything for nothing were dealt with. I really would have some sort of sympathy for him had he lost his ticket, he just didn't give a fuck. no harm has been done here and I'd probably have been more annoyed had police time been wasted on a shite bag like that ned. Dynamo
If the ned wasn't being such a bam with a shite attitude the conductor manny may have taken pity on him and let him stay on. But he was a little cunt who got what he deserved. Link to comment

daytripping
The amount of people here defending a tosser is staggering, the young chap was not acting in a threatening manner and his biggest crime was he'd tried to dodge a train fare, big fucking deal, I'm sure if he'd had the cash he would have paid. I hope the bully gets jailed for assault, he had no right to touch the young small chap, from reading here I assume Big Man is a trainee lawyer, surely he would know a member of the public can't play judge, jury and executioner, laws exist for a reason. Fare dodging on a short journey is hardly worthy of a telling off let alone an assault from a bully, what would you think if your son/daughter found themselves short of cash late at night and needed to get home. It's akin to me beating someone up for dropping litter, I might not like a teenager doing it but I wouldn't be within my rights to pick him up and throw him off the pavement. Link to comment

Maybe he did try to discuss it/give his reasons but the conductor decided to be an arse. The conductor is three times the size of the kid which could have been quite intimidating. And how do we know he hadn't paid for a ticket and had lost it or the ticket office at the station had given him the wrong one? Awful lot of judgemental cunts on here thinking it's right to throw a kid off a train based on a couple of minutes of poor quality footage. Link to comment

RabidGiraffe
Let's look at this situation a little differently. Someone quite possibly a bit drunk swears a bit at an authority figure, possibly for failing to show a valid ticket. They are rough handled out of their seat and ejected from the premises in a violent manner. Are they on a train? No, they're at a football game and a steward has completely over-reacted to the situation. There's plenty on here moan about heavy-handed stewarding at football games. I see a similarity here in that the so-called big man's reaction is wholey disproportionate to whatever tha guy is supposed to have done. If he'd swung for the conductor or pulled a knife I would have understood the intervention, but he didn't. He's not being at all threatening, yet a stranger twice his size thinks he can just assault him. All the "big man" is missing is a hi-vis jacket. Link to comment

Most service trains to a dons match have at least one fare dodger, not bad lads just a bit short of cash, if they had the money they'd pay the fare. daytripping
The only person with any balls on that train was the woman who said there was no reason to do that when the young lad was thrown to the ground, all over a fucking fiver! Link to comment

Police are investigating. "I couldn't believe what I was witnessing", said one witness, who was sat in the adjoining carriage. "The train totally stopped for a brief period and I glimpsed a really bad hat". "It's disgraceful that this type of thing is allowed to go on. My kids would have been traumatised if they were there. The guy was probably just low on methadone and then this tax paying Big Man just chucks the poor wee boy off the train". "If I could afford a car I would be boycotting Scotrail. It had fuck all to do with him, it was actually pathetic how he thought he was rambo for the minute. Its almost as if you are saying its OK to fare dodge because i've done it and so have my mates? Being honest, i've done it to, more so when the gates weren't up and I couldn't be arsed paying in advance to get cheap tickets, I have even been caught travelling wtih no money to actually pay for the ticket. I didnt' act up, I just laughed and said I had no money but i'd get of at the next station, I didn't think it was OK to do it, I just hoped I would get away it. Is it OK if I pop round and burgle your house because I have no money? The point is he was being a cock, kept going on about having a ticket, when it was the wrong ticket or maybe not even his ticket? If the situation had been he was admitting to having no money or as you suggested for him, been sold the wrong ticket, then folk here and on the train would probably have sympathised with him and helped him out. Its almost as if you've seen the majority are siding with "big man" so decided to take the opposite view for an argument. Link to comment
hopeisimportant
The "Big Man" was a bit ott but I can't believe the support this wee twirp is getting. You can clearly see/hear the conductor checking his ticket and telling him it's not valid. At no point did the guy try and say, "sorry, I thought it was valid" or "sorry, I don't have the money for another ticket, I just need to get home to Mummy". He started swearing at the conductor and general just acting like a knob. Fair play to "Big Man" for helping out. He didn't assault him FFS! He picked him up off his seat and pushed him down the aisle and off the train. The wee radge then tried to run back on so promptly got bundled back off. What's the big deal? Heavy handed - yesAssault - no Link to comment

barassie_afc
Good on the big man, I see cxnts like that all the time on the train, unfortunately he will probably get charged. What really annoys me was the simpering liberals on the train. Reminds me of when my bro reached melting point on a bus in Glasgow when a ned was swearing an everyone and threatening people and he was swing an empty bottle about, barassie jnr jumped out of the seat and throttled him and flung him to the deck, a few on bus stated "there was no need for that", cxnts .
