With his shooting ability I can understand the reason for trying him there but it just didn't work.

Our team lacked composure and quality in the final third. Attendance according to BBC was 6,936 which just reflects the lack of entertainment our football club is producing on the park.

 

Jack was the best player on the park, while Fyvie will not want to remember this one.

 

Won't be making the top 6 if we continue to play like that. St Johnstone looked average and a bit more intent from our side would have given us all 3 points.

 

In all honesty the last 2 weeks have seen us sabotage our top 6 chances

Well that was utter shite. That 4-2-3-1 or whatever it was meant to be didnt work. Mcardle despite having a good game is not a left back and soo one footed it unbelievable. Fyvie was pish. Meggunson did nithing but trip over his own feet. Arnason did hee haw. Vernon gave up towards the end. We looked vetter when we went to a 442 with chalali and uchechi either side

Thought this would be a good test for us and where our management see us.

 

I guess the powers are happy to be around 7-9th in the league. There was nothing really to suggest otherwise.

 

We are grinding out the dullest of non-results.

I thought Jack was shite, simple passes he gave away.

 

Vernon played well & was having to come too deep later on.

Arnie was good as well & a lot of un noticed play in middle.

Mackie came on & actually had a couple of good wee moments & help the ball up well on a couple of attacks where normally he'd have lost us possession but then he also had a couple of (normal) shocking passes & could very well have cost us a late goal by standing WAITING for the ball to come to him rather than meet it & then they took it a should have scored from it.

Fyvie wasn't as bad as some are saying, certainly wasn't his best game but he had a couple of decent moments.

Still not convinced by Brown's handling but didn't have much to deal with the day & still managed a couple of spills.

 

We clearly still need a creative spark & I hope Uchechi (however you spell it) can be one of them but have some doubts.
