barassie_afc
Ok we are harder to beat but watching today was a watershed would appear he is shit scared of losing the first goal and immune to attacking football, new stadium ? Fucker will be empty if this is the "product" Link to comment
Dynamo
Worst football I've ever seen us play. Even under paterson we were mince but tried to attack. Getting fed up with Brown. Link to comment

Stoneybloke
Brown is fixated on the tactics he used as Scotland manager. This is to go into the match as "underdogs" and set the team up to avoid losing a goal. Took our players a long time to get it, but I think they are there now. Link to comment
Sonoftherock
Worst football I've ever seen us play. Even under paterson we were mince but tried to attack. Getting fed up with Brown. Brown has done well to steady the ship after the apocalypse that was Mark McGhees Aberdeen. However, I think the auld boy has run of ideas at this level. At best the style of football he plays has always been turgid, defensive and lacking in creativity. The question for me is; do we stick or twist in the summer? Brown has build a solid, but completely unspectacular side. I reckon next year he'll tough out a top 6 spot fairly comfortably.... but is that enough? Bringing in someone younger and more dynamic, to breathe some fresh air and new ideas to the club, is a massive risk. Link to comment
virtualmontana
A few years of not retaining a consistent management structure, not developing the product on the park has resulted in this. Shite attendance, poor depth of squad ( albeit youth development best / most encouraging this year for some time) in case you think I am being an apologist of JC and his blind refusal to go down this route. The current football and how exciting it is or worthy of pay through the gate is In any long term planning - a major worry. Will the new stadia be the panacea for the current ills. I am starting to see this season as a year of rebuild and consolidation from the disaster of McGhee, anything more and wanting further progress is just a wish too far. Consolidated league position, focus on cup run and secure spine of squad for next year.. the reality of where AFC are. Milne has us still in existence, thankful for this. The patient is still on the table- we are no longer operating... until such time as we move to a new ward.. Link to comment
OddJob
I have to agree here. I like Brown as a person but he's not got the application to take us to the next level. Today was another example of horrendous tactics. Link to comment
Dynamo
Scored 1 goal or less in 21 of our games this season. Something needs to be done about the style of football we're playing. The crowds are dire and we'll be losing out on some decent money there!!! Link to comment
OddJob
I actually dread to think what the crowd will be for the Tims game, especially if we don't get a result next week too Link to comment

Mouse
I think we played marginally better than the 1-0 win against Dunfermline. Still was far from pretty viewing. Kind of had a go in the last 5 minutes, my question is why couldn't we do that the whole bloody match? Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
Please Mr Brown, retire at the end of the season (preferably with a cup) & move over for Adams to come in. PLEASE. I'm renewing my season ticket next season regardless but I'd much rather it was to watch a different manager managing the side Link to comment

Get Brown and Knox to work with him. Maybe even make whoever it is a "joint" manager so its clear he has a real say and no on is any doubt then let them work together until Brown feels its his time to retire. Link to comment

Ke1t
Under 7000... We're at about Dundee United's attendance levels now. Wonder if it'll be long before we hit St Mirren sized gates. The decline continues. Link to comment

The Oxford Don
Brown's Scotland were solid, unspectacular, conceded few goals, created few chances and played with absolutely no width. They were 'successful' only by the narrowest of definitions, and arguably didn't make enough of the resources available (will the national team ever again have a midfield of the calibre of Lambert, Collins and MacAllister...?) So basically, what I'm saying is that we shouldn't be surprised by the way Broon has us playing. What the board now need to work out is: is this enough, or do we run the risk of slipping back into genuine relegation territory in chasing someone more adventurous. Unfortunately, I think we can all answer that question. Link to comment

K-9
9 wins in 39 league games after the initial honeymoon period. Last 6 home games (St J, QOTS, Pars, Killie, Hearts, Hibs) we have managed just 14 shots on target. 7 of those came against bottom of league Dunfermline so just 7 shots on target in other 5 games says it all. Dear Christ that is fucking terrible. Not altogether surprising considering the way we play at the moment, but to have it spelled out like that in black and white is still pretty depressing. Guess its now worth watching then Almost no incident of note in the entire 90 mins. Uchechi looks to have a bit about him, some nice touches when he came on. I think you can probably delete the recording though, safe in the knowledge that you've not missed anything! Link to comment

It's ok playing great against the likes of Ayr & Morton week in week out but there's still a step up in this league. I've already said that i'd be delighted if we went in for him as manager, but he hasn't done anything yet to say he'd be a success in the SPL, so he needs to prove it next season first.
