muttondressedaslamb
Want to take up golf again. Have had some lessons years ago but not in Aberdeen. I have a half set of shit clubs. Can anyone recommend where to go in Aberdeen for lessons? Likes of Fatshaft and other players. And how much would I be expected to pay. It would also have to be on the evenings as I work full time and long hours. Any info would be greatly received. Link to comment
fatshaft
Alan Stewart at Aspire. It'll cost about £25 for half an hour, though I think he does discounts for booking a few at one time. Link to comment
dazzy_deff
I go to Steve Craig at the Links. Find him very good and the system they have is brilliant. Video analysis, comparison with pro swings, all gets recorded, sent to emails and phones as a text. I sometimes find myself watching again days down the line to remind myself of techniques etc. Not sure of cost as I got 5 for my birthday last year. Think it was 100 quid for 5, 5th one was free if i remember right. Used 3 and got 2 to use...one end of this month ready for the new season and one before I play St Andrews in July. Link to comment

Just checked the website as thought I was going off my nut. Their pro is Stephen Murray and seems can be booked for lessons. Link to comment

Got the potential to be a really good golf club. Link to comment

Got the potential to be a really good golf club. It does, but it's been run as a business (Marschall Trailers) and not as a golf club. Boy Marshall will only spend money on the course if you pay for your subscription - chicken and egg. Dinna like the cut of his jib. Would have been far better if the members could have taken over the running of the place. Link to comment
fatshaft
A wee while back someone recommended Kemnay to me. They have a machine which records what you're doing - and they show you it back to let you know where you are going wrong. I can't recall how much it was, but Link to comment
