Following on from ridaligo post in another thread iv started a new thread and added a few points. Everyone can add what they would like and then we can decide what we would like as the fans if the game was to be drastically chnaged. Hope you dont mind ridaligo.

 

TV deals

1. All TV monies to be shared equally between all teams in the same league

2. Same number of live league games for each team

3. All match highlights to be of equal length, rotation of running order week to week

4. Equality of cup match coverage round by round

5. All teams to be given equal TV time for post match analysis and commentary

 

Referees

1. New independent body to provide match referees, run by trustees with no connection to the Scottish game

2. A number of referees to be sourced from abroad

3. No Scottish referees to officiate matches involving Celtic and Rangers

4. All referees to disclose a declaration of interests e.g. commercial relationships, membership of clubs, associations, religious affiliation etc.

5. Fair play review body containing experts from outside the Scottish game

 

Players

1. Wage bill cap at the same level for all teams in the same league - plenty of precedent for this in US sport

2. Poaching of players from other same league teams to be discouraged by fine / tax / compensation system

 

Sponsorship

1. All team sponsorship monies to be paid into a central pool for redistribution among same league teams

 

Ticket Pricing

1. No discriminatory ticket pricing, fees or charges.

2. Gates shared equally between the 2 sides each game.

 

European money

1. Look into the money being distributed around the league

 

Youth players

1.Co ownership like Serie A should be looked into to give the young players throughout scotland the best chance possible to flourish

2. Like in La Liga a realistic buy out clause should be put on each youth player that must be meet to see them released from the contract. The better the player the bigger the clause obviously. They are the future of the game and need to be kept in our game or at very least well compensated for.

Bigger league, better distribution of money, audited accounts for all teams, rules on payment of debts etc
