Crutches At The Footy?

I managed to tear the ligaments in my knee(once again), last night, simply by standing up( i wasn't drinking) and Im just about to go up to A&E and see about getting a support put on and some crutches, as I can't walk.

 

I still want to go to the game tomorrow, but was thinking maybe you're not allowed in with crutches, anyone ever had to do this?

Did this for the Scotland V Spain game, Dons vs Dundee United last year and didn't have a problem getting in. The real issue was sitting down in such a confined space with nowhere to stretch your leg out meaning your knee is bent and stiffens up. This makes walking after the game pretty difficult, not impossible though.

 

Edit: This was also at least a month after my injury which was a stage 3 MCL so depending on your severity I'd question going.

This reminds me of an old '3rd eye' on soccer AM where a fan was spotted waving his crutches in the air celebrating a goal whilst standing fine haha

I went to both the League Cup final and the replay against Dundee Utd with a stookie and crutches. I know that was a previous lifetime ago but I managed and nobody questioned me.

Thanks guys, and lady, I think I'll see how its doing tomorrow, as the doc thought it was a bad idea, and I'd need to get my wife to drive me over.

I'm on crutches with leg braces at the moment and I cant go to any games as I can't sit in a sear properly but as soon as I can, I'll be going!
