We Are The Famous Aberdeen

afc reflect my attitude to life in general, the club that had the donalds in charge, well run and great times. the casual support was awesome, stopped the huns and tims in their tracks and coincided with our success. union street was buzzing, burberry's etc.

i suppose i'm a socialist, a left winger, but i kick with my right peg.

when/if we move to our new stadium, and hit the ground running, then onwards and upwards. we need more community interaction, too many huns started coming out the closet when souness arrived. primary school dandies all of a sudden turned.

a full house at home can make all the difference, copenhagen and bayern just go to show that players will respond. i can see us kicking on next season as long as brown can see this himself. if he's still around, if he goes this job could become attractive. i'll throw paul sturrock's hat in the ring for starters. :sheepdance: :sheepdance:

Exactly, keep it positive. I'm probably older than most here, but have younger members of my family more passionate than I am, and that makes me happy, no glory hunters. I love AFC, simple. I don't want to influence how better people than me finance things, don't want demos against managers or chairmen, I just blindly support Aberdeen, its MY team, it's OUR team. Lots of you won't agree with that, but working life is hard and I want fun away from other things. For me part of that is Aberdeen. Sometimes it's not fun, but I've had heaps of great times, not just at Pittodrie, but in Berlin, Madrid, and all over Scotland. I was only 13 when we won in gothenburg but i remember it. It's called being a football fan. It's beautiful, it's frustrating, it's painful, but every now and then it's the best thing ever. Stand Free.

The only ring he'd be getting thrown into is the circus.

We'll win today again.

3-1. :bounce:

Harsh...the way Ross County are performing I suspect any thoughts of Derek Adams jumping ship have all but vanished...unless he is made an offer he can't refuse...which is pretty unlikley...Luggy's a realistic shout

What about a young, ambitious and energetic manager. Just like SAF was back in the day. Maybe Paul Hartley, for example?

I'd welcome Hartley , just can't see the board taking the risk...Luggy would fit the bill with a good 10 years left in him if by some sort of miracle we kept a manager for more than 2 years.

You are probably right with the risk avoidance. Well done to the Killie board for taking the risk with Shiels. We will probably end up with yet another manager who has a long track record of never quite doing it.

Turnbull and Ferguson, our two most outstanding managers, had limited experience when they were appointed, but they had massive amounts of enthusiasm and commitment.

Surely we don't want yet another manager in the twilight of their career.
