sheepiekev
nae really biting, just been here before, thinking that absolute clown is finally leaving only for him to get handed a lucrative new deal. i certainly won't be backing craig brown if he hands the most inept spastic i've ever seen on any football park ever, a new deal. I think his time will be up this time.....but I'm not putting any money on it!If Brown does give him a contract, he can fuck clean off, but I dont think he's that daft. Link to comment
ebbe
I genuinely think some of the spastics from Scatterburn Rogues could get a game over him. i completely agree. he would not get near the all conquering provost rust pumas team of 96. Link to comment
forbesz1903
decent game inite but was really a game for people to get game time as was shown with magennis playing right back, anderson was quiet along with the rest of our backline but was good to see him and Langfield play in the flesh again. Chalali i thought looked sharped, unfortunately picked up a knock and came off, but wouldn't be adverse to him getting a run between now and the end of the season, Mackie took his first goal well, and his 2nd was a tap in, and again can't see the harm in seeing more from him before the end of the season, i know the argument is we know what he can do etc, but I believe that he'll be here next season would be abit poor if we don't keep chalali as he has always looked decent when I've seen him play, not just tonight but in previous games. for peterhead I thought McAllistair movement was good, and certainly looked a class above everyone else on his team, worth a look for sure and can see him getting a gig for a SPL team next season if his apprenticeship is up as i think that was his reasoning for moving to PHD and not a full time club if I remember correctly. Why the hell would you want that useless clown Mackie in the team?60 odd goals in 11 seasons is it?Fuck him out the door asap!Chalali I'm not sure about, but can see why you say he needs a run, he hasn't really had much of a chance. I personally dont think he'll be good enough, but I'm prepared to try him before MackieCome to think of it, I'm prepared to try Steven Hawking before Mackie.McAllister is not good enough for Aberdeen either - a good First Divison player at best. vanderark14
Would like to see the likes of Fraser, Masson and Low get games once the split happens. I don't just mean a token 5 minutes, I mean a start or starts each. With no reserve league theres no other way for them to get proper game time to see if they can step up. If the youth is apparently our future then lets see it Link to comment
Stoney
Yup exactly nothing to lose and certainly no pressure on them to perform. Ideal for them to play the home games at least. Link to comment

Stoney
Tricky one. Think a half each for our top players, keep them fresh but not risking injury. Link to comment
ScottishJohn
Playing again tonight (Tuesday 3rd). Hopefully see Hughes and Anderson get 90 minutes. Edit: Unless there is too much snow Link to comment

Jazzer_Bett
They are the only team we can beat so we are now playing them every two weeks to remind the players of what it feels like. Link to comment
Dandyesque
Playing Peterhead again? Reserve League North-East fixture. Only 2 clubs in it. Link to comment

Karl Fletcher
in that case, who exactly is this game benefitting? Hughes and maybe a couple of the younger lads who could be in the frame for a place on the bench for the semi? Seems fairly pointless tbh. Link to comment

Squad: Langfield, Lukasik, Murray, Magennis, Mawene, Duguid, Paton, Masson, Hughes, Uchechi, O'Neill, Smith, Fraser, Chalali, Megginson, McManus All the highlighted ones & more so the likes of Smith, Masson & McManus as they are on the fringe of the first team & need all the experience they can get if they may & I stress MAY be needed for the semi & the last few games of the season cos others are possibly just kicking their heels cos they know they're done with Aberdeen. Fk sake, folk will complain at trivial things. These games were agreed between the two clubs ages ago & for the benefit of BOTH clubs, so what's the harm? Not costing anything is it? tickets will likely cover the minimal costs of playing them. ScottishJohn
Jamie Masson and Cammy Smith are 2 decent players and hopefully make the step up to first team in the split. Megginson needs this game to practice his shooting! Link to comment

Of course, the same people complain at the lack of a reserve league... It is that you complain that is important you see, not what you complain about. Link to comment

I'd have thought playing them in the first team might be more of a motivation rather than pish like Mackie.Jesus, I'd rather give Declan McManus a couple of first team games than Mackie!
