The co-pilot locked him out of the cockpit, asked the passengers and crew to subdue him. The plane was diverted to a Texan airport, where the pilot was taken away (on a stretcher), and the plane continued its journey to Vegas.

Aye I ken, cracking up on board a plane which you are in charge of, 30,000ft in the air, amidst claims of there being a bomb on board, having to be locked out of the cockpit to ensure the safety of the lives of the 100 odd folk on board, and some of those folk having to physically restrain you to prevent further mayhem seems to be majorly frowned upon by the authorities of a country which has had very recent experience of airplane hijack style incidents.
