Song Played At Pittodrie

Recommended Posts

The chorus goes something like "Old Can of Ham" over and over again (don't laugh). Either that or "Old Callahan". It's probably nothing like the lyrics, but if someone can tell me what the song and singer are I would be grateful. I would describe it as sort of rock/indie music. It was played when the players came out at half time during the 1-1 draw with Celtic at Pittodrie this season last time we played them.

Not too important, but it's doing my head in. What is it? I blame the South Stand PA system!

Shocking result today by the way. 3 defeats in a row. Hope we don't go into the semi-final on the back of 4 losses!

Thanks in advance

Thanks, but it's not this one.

It sounds like a fairly new song, as if it was an old one I would have heard it before. But I am not sure.

It's played almost all the time at Pittodrie these days and even the verses are hard to make out!

The "Old" note is a longer note (if that's what the word is) before 3 shorter notes, then the other 3 notes go up, down slightly, then up to the highest last note.

"Old Can of Ham" or "Old Callahan" or whatever is played 4 or 8 times for the chorus (the second, fourth phrases, etc. are repeated phrases of the first, third, etc., but are slightly quieter as if it is an echo or something).

It sounds a wee bit like Primal Scream, but it's not them. I don't think???!!!
