Why the fuck are we signing these two cunts, only to tell them to get the fuck a few months later. We could have had in Nelson and Beattie instead of these two and gotten a fuckload more use out of them than two players that Broon had no intentions of playing. My support for Craigie is severely dropping and I hope to god he turns it round very soon!

Nelson?

Uchechi has fallen foul of Archie Knox's old school bully boy coaching methods. A pretty decent player allegedly who's confidence had been shattered by Knox's merciless berating. Allegedly.

Must be some sort of poof....

In all seriousness though, this is becoming a trend is it not? Knox kicking folk up n doon the training grun?

I asked Craig Brown at the roadshow tonight why we signed Uchechi in the first place. He said they knew he was lightweight but they were getting him for next to nothing and weren't going to make a loss on taking him here until the summer. He was brutally honest about him and said he is simply not good enough and definitely won't be here after the summer. Admits it was a mistake to sign him, but it doesn't have many consequences for the club. With Chalali, they had a little more hope but he won't be staying either and admits he has turned out to be a mistake too.

How does Brown manage to get away with what is just crass incompetence. He bleated about being over budget, then signed Fallon, he talked about Chalali "exploding", and then Uchechi was supposed to be another Aluko. Then we had the new influx in January. It just doesn't make sense.

What a total waste of time and money. Him and Knox have totally lost the plot.

Knox is as good an assistant as you will get, players need to man up

That's the general comments I was hoping for... Players are too soft nowadays.

Gutted we didn't score today either.. Is that over 600 mins without a goal against those minky fuckers?

His "attacking" signings have been deplorable, and clearly show a total lack of an eye for an attack minded player.

Sums up his philosophy on football.

He's wasted about

Also, Craig Brown and Willie Miller said tonight that Fraser Fyvie is so determined to play in England that he will almost definitely be leaving either in the summer or at the end of his contract (the latter more likely).

Can't say I blame him. If he is as talented as he is claimed to be, then why should he risk his career by languishing at Pittodrie with a bunch of dead-beats.

Yeah, but they made the point that when you look at a player like Maguire, the decision to go down south hasn't worked for him. Brown said that if he'd stayed at Aberdeen, there's a good chance he would've still been in the Scotland squad. They try to use examples like that to the youth players, but their agents fill their heads with "mince" as Brown himself said. The club have spoken with the SPL and SFA about proposing to Uefa to chance the rules regarding youth players, so said Willie Miller.

He's not nearly ready for Fulham, where he's going.

But who the fuck can blame any player for moving on from a shite team, and a shite league and increasing his salary sixfold at least.

Twenty odd years ago maybe.

Brown and Knox are dinosaurs in the modern game.

A fresh approach and ideas are definitely needed come summer time I'd say. I've spoken to someone who played under Knox as a kid in the 80's and who still has ties to the club. He insists he has grown angrier with age rather than tempered it. Doesn't work these days.

Yes, because Aberdeen's voice & Scotland as a nation will hold huge sway with UEFA!!

Miller cant even run a chipper FFS, and doesn't pay his debts so he can fuck off with Brown.

Legendary player, the best we've ever had, but an arrogant dislikeable man with not a shred of business acumen.

I don't think you can write Maguire off just yet. Derby have put him out on a short term loan to Portsmouth and he's had a couple of very good performances. Seems like him and Clough don't get on.
