Noremac
Might be one of those things we release for a potential final??? did that not happen the year the huns literally kicked the shit and cheated there way to another victory through an grievous career ending assault on big Jim. Link to comment

robbo
Only possible if were staying with nike and team? woops. but aye, you have to assume that adidas have signed at least a 3 year deal given the effort that went into overhauling the club shop....plus, who would only sign a 1 year deal with a supplier? STANDfreeSCOTTY
Im hoping they do stay with Adidas,, Adidas shits on nike. Plus next year the could release an official Adidas version of the cup winners cup strip. Link to comment
Liam
its definitely a adidas kit, we signed a "long term" deal with them. Also been hearing word from inside the club that we were pushing for a sort of commemorative kit to mark 30 years since the cup winners cup. Wasnt told if we were successful or not though. I have heard that Adidas would make any past design if enough of them were ordered. I think it may be 1000 units? I don't know if this is still the case or if the numbers are right, but they should do it! Link to comment
rossafc92
The deal signed with Adidas lasts 5 years. If Jason Brown was doing the photo shoot for the kit today, then I'd imagine Team Recruitment have signed an extension as shirt sponsors? Link to comment

I'd buy one, been trying to get my hands on one for years. Got every replica old school kit. Doesn't mean I'm celebrating the 1970 Scottish Cup win or the 1976 Scottish League Cup win, just means I like old school fitba tops. Link to comment
goteborg83
I remember gettin my brand new home kit home in time for the cup final in 2000 only for the tie to be effectively over after 3 minutes. Cheating hun scum! Link to comment
StevieT1986
Was in the club shop a couple of weeks ago with my mate and we were discussing how pissed off as a parent you'd be at the green goalie top and the fact that its never been worn Link to comment
J4MRU
Gavin Rae just confirmed on Twitter that he has seen it today..... It's smart..... And it's Adidas. He is buying black and red Adidas boots (well he reckons mr Adidas will be a couple of pairs lighter) to go with it...... Hopefully see this on Cup Final day!! Link to comment
dj_bollocks
Given the 20th Anniversary strip was a crock of shit I'd like a tip top quality home and away top (ECWC & Super Cup top) Link to comment

Karl Fletcher
Gothenburg should just be confined to the history books and be left alone completely now. No needs for 30th, 35th, 40th etc celebrations. We've celebrated it to death. IMO. Link to comment

We've celebrated it to death. IMO.Agreed to a certain extent, but there have been people that I know living in Aberdeen & Shire, well into their fitba, that didn't know what happened in '83. I don't think that it's lorded as much as people say. In fact, I've heard it more from opposition fans than I have from AFC fans. Just to nail my colours to the mast... If there's money to be made from it for the club then I think it's a great idea. Link to comment

We can still talk about it.Still sell the Gothenburg strips and DVDsStill tell the young ones about itAnd now and then we can still remind other fans we are still the only Scottish Club to win two European trophies But as for special matches, dinners, other organised events etc I wouldn't see the point tbh. I'll agree with you that I don't like the special matches, not one for glamor friendlies although, again, lot o' dough to be made there. Link to comment

IMO. agreeed. dare i suggest to remove the 2nd star also. i find it a little crringeworthy. however, nothing worng with retro style strips though. many clubs have done that in the past. man u had two in a row in the 90s commemorating newton heath and their euro cup win. didnt everton have one recently styled on their 80s success? two recent example of clubs living in the past there. besides, many fans would welcome it. annual celebrations of 1983 less so i woudl say than a new cool strip.
