Jesus they speak some amount of shite on there.

 

However this caught my eye.

 

We'll see but I'm pretty sure it's the plan to hold us in the SPL while screwing us over at the same time. We get heehaw, they get Sky deal and travelling support.

Win win for them.

 

Although it's plainly bollocks at first look it's maybe nae as daft as it sounds.

 

Not sure who "they" are but I presume he means the other teams in SPL. Of course the myth about the travelling support is pish but there will be the odd chairman out there who has maybe thought this very thing.

No way just spotted it's a poll....

 

 

Newco and sanctions or Division 3?

  • Newco and at least -15pts, no Euro football and 75% less TV money (6 votes [1.92%])
  • Division Three and working our way back? (307 votes [98.08%])

 

It is the most honourable way out - newco into the SPL is the money mans fix - no one elses.

 

There is it appears even a little honour amongst thieves. Though it would be interesting to see how many would answer a poll honestly about whether they feel they have cheated scottish and indeed european football for upwards of ten years.

 

Starting in div 3 would keep me happy. We should merrily rewrite the SPL rules while they recover so that no one can ever again wield such unfettered power.

Well you'd have a point if that was the intent, however they are voting for the Div 3 option by following the lead of the guy who set up the poll, his OP says this...

 

Fairly obvious vote, and will be interesting to see the result.

 

I'm all for telling the SFA/SPL to stick their punishments, watching them flounder and fall away for three years with no Sky money and the SPL having one of its biggest money spinners nowhere for three years.

 

I think they'd crumble if we can play hardball.

 

Bizarrly, this is a v-sign to the rest of us for trying to get justice for their cheating, no honour involved whatsoever, just unashamed belligerence!

Okay - many are delusional - some trusting to the lies they have been fed by those that steal their money and feed them crap - some just raving sick minds - many a combination of the two - I'd be happy to let them go down to the third division - they can believe what they want today - they'd find the team that clambered out of the first division a few years later a very different animal to the current one - the cheats in the SPL know that despite the mouthings of the unwashed which is why they are offering the olive branch of a strict telling off.
