fatshaft
Broon ye demented auld cunt, this is why we have stagnated again, sub-par pish that have held aberdeen back for years, and you play them in a semi hoping that despite years of evidence to the contrary, this will be the day they come good. gtf now you stuttering old goat. a don in oz
The single worst was taking off Jack at half time. Fyvie was a good idea... but Jack!? Unless he comes out and say the guy had double vision after the head knock or something but honestly... if that was tactical it's mind blowing. Link to comment

Geoff_Tipps
Mackie's best move involved him in hitting the ball at their black left back making it ricochet into his path. He then bares down on goal and see's the back page headlines, 'local hero', completely ignoring Vernon who was unmarked on the edge of the six yard box, before unleashing a left foot trundler to goal which the Hibs keeper easily stopped. There is no doubting Darren Mackie has potential Link to comment

Mackie was much more effective than Clark, who is a waste of skin. At least Mackie attempted to go down the line and take his man on, unlike fannybaws Clark.. That said, it was Mackie's rapist-esque touch that led to losing possession and Hibs scoring the winner. Conclusion = You win nothing with pish like Clark and Mackie in yer team. Link to comment

Mackie is more likely to lead to a goal for the opposition than for us...giving away possession and dreadful tackling Link to comment
dj_bollocks
Still think Jack is partly responsible for not clearing the first goal... Could be wrong but it looked like it was him, who didn't clear the ball... Also though both our starting wingers were pish as they hardly ever made any runs down the wing... The amount of times we passed the ball backwards was ricockulous... Link to comment

laphroaig
We need more chants and songs anyway, people were trying to inspire Mackie to do something worth while. We have no width no creativity, joint bottom goals for in the league, a clueless manager too many same same players, I would have cheered a goal of Mackies left ear today, just wanted to get thru to the final. Not sure what the options in the squad would have been? Jack was clearly suffering from a head knock. It would have been a disgrace and a potential danger to his health to leave him in for the 2nd half. Perhaps Pawlett might have gotten a start ahead of Clark - but then he has managed the dubious feat of achieving less than Clark has this season - his sole contribution to date being falling over his own feet and getting a penalty against today's opposition. Which leaves Mackie, who scored at the weekend - would you have preferred a goalkeeper took his place? The only thing above I'd lay at Brown's door is re-signing Clark. Link to comment

Redstar
Was the hooking of Ryan Jack down to an injury or was it "Broon/Knox tactical"? If it was tactical I'm at a bit of a loss to see what Jack did to merited being subbed? It looks like the younger members of the squad are becoming more and disillusioned by Broon and Knox...Grimmer off, Fyvie stating he will not sign another deal and rumblings that Robertson is pissed off. Jack has committed to the club but seems to be treated worse than a dog...the arrival of Hughes and Rae must be even more of a kick in the teeth for him. I'd like to see youth given a chance to get us out of the rut we are in but this seems to be the last thing on the current management teams agenda...Instead of encouraging these lads Broon and Knox seem hell-bent on driving them out of the club.
