Clear Out In The Summer

Sadly, we're stuck with Clark or I'd punt that chocolate too.

For the rest of the season, for all that it matters, give guys like McManus a go. Totally pointless playing guys that are clearly going in the summer.

In midfield and attack we badly need creativity and mobility.

We must be the most predictable, and slowest team in the SPL.

Brown started off so well, too.

Almost before the door closed behind him he took Ifil and Young aside and pointed them towards the exit. He's since got rid of Foster, mostly frozen out Mackie, made it clear that Clangers will be offski, and generally taken the wasters, the shitbags and dead wood and punted them doon the road.

But then he re-signed Clark and, to compound that stupidity, gave him a three year contract.

Had he never seen Clark play football before?

Anyway, fortunately I've seen next to no Aberdeen games this season thanks to AFC refusing to accept my cash when I repeatedly tried to purchase RedTV International, so I haven't had to put up with Craigy-Boy's own particular brand of defendball.

Suppose as a back up centre half or right back maybe.

His distribution today was embarrassing

What was embarrassing was the static muppets who were not prepared to move or run into space for the entire first half. Too many players went to the wings and thought that because they were on the wing they didn't need to do anything else.

You can't pass to a player who's hiding!

Why wait until the summer. Do a deal with whoever is going and get them out now. No point in them staying, unless it's just to give friendly games to Peterhead. It delivers a message that the management team mean business. No more of this "going over budget" shit. And start looking for decent replacements NOW!!, not at the last minute.

Seeing as we have 5 meaningless games now, guys that are definitely going shouldnt be played again (we cant do that with all the out of contract players as we'd struggle to get a team together but can do with most). Guys like Mackie, Magennis shouldn't even be in the 18.

Promote a couple of the younger guys like McManus and give them a go.

They cant be worse than the likes of Mackie!

The thing is "doing a deal" to get rid now suggests we'll pay them to go - we cant and wont

There are about 10 players going, and even if we are to trim the wage bill, there's room for maybe 5 to come in.....but, would you trust Brown to sort out the glaring deficiincies in the squad....full back, wide player(s) and another striker ?

He plays centre halves at full back and centre mids out wide FFS.

We desperately need creativity and pace added to the team.

He made some sort of deal with Ifil when he went well before his contract was up. Difficult to trust Brown on making any progress as he only creates one-dimensional teams with no flair or vision. Can't see much hope until he decides to hang up his black anorak.

Spot on.

It beggars belief that Chris Clark still can lay claim to being a professional footballer.

He is invisible. Never available to receive a pass, never able to take a man on, never able to get to the by-line.

I felt sorry for both our full backs today (Robertson in the 1st half and McCardle in the 2nd) as they were on their own and doing the work of two men.

Serious question - If Clark went into the Highland League or Juniors do you think he would stand out?

Off course he would.

For his lack of ability.
