Redstar
I know some will be "knocking one out" at this news...but it may be extremley bad news...If some far eastern money hits the weege the Hun could come out of this with Man City type cash behind them. As a route into the CL the SPL has to be one of the easiest...the case has had plenty publicity and in the real world Link to comment

Ke1t
Good shout FS...It's still a worry that some other idiot with more cash than sense may appear before this one is done Can't see it. If some Saudi Oil Mucker has 100,000,000 to piss away he'll do it on an English side where the lure of massive amounts of TV cash and sponsorship offer a real return on investment. Buying Rangers would be like pumping stupid cash into upgrading your cartie, then trying to race it against F1 motors from Italy, Spain, Germany and England. If there isn't a Weegian Hun out there with the cash to save them then their only hope lies in the inherent corruption in Scottish Football to offer them every advantage as a Newco. Link to comment
Redstar
why not spend a tenth of that on Aberdeen, Hearts, HIbs etc etc who are all permitted to play in the CL in the coming years ? Spending 90 million on Rangers would take 20+ years at the very min to recoup, and thats being optimistic.Agreed AFC are a perfect buy for anyone wanting CL participation for a fraction of the cost of most other league...I've said so before Link to comment
muttondressedaslamb
According to the Rangers Media forum they don't seem to be too bothered by the walking away of the Blue Knights. Looks as though they have put their faith in the Ng boy.How do you pronounce that name? Link to comment
Bluto10
to be honest i've been pretty surprised that the offers to bail out the huns havent been very good. i expected more from the people. Link to comment

Noremac
Do you think it is just a complete coincidence he is called Bill Ng which could just be a verb for williaming? a new word for stripping a club to it's bare bones redistributing its ill gotten gains to the rightful winners and building a massive wonga.com superstore on its foundations for all to be reminded of the way the huns have spent more than they ever had or could imagine they would ever have. No, just a thought. Link to comment
