Great deal for bringing in the under 12's but this SHOULD have always been done imo & not just as desperate gesture to attempt to make up for yet another shocking season.

 

Just hope this deal stays in place full time cos we need to encourage the younger ones along now before even more are lost to the OF fkrs.

If this deal helps even one young fan a season choose the dandies over either of them as their club for life, then it's a deal worth doing.

I will renew IF I see some sort of ambition from the club in the signings made over Summer (& I mean fkn BEFORE a ball's kicked & NOT fkn last day of window BS!) but if we are making Chris Clark type signings then they can ram it if they think they're getting a single penny from me.

 

Whilst Brown seems to be getting credit (& rightly so) for his signing of Milsom & Arnason he also deserves stick & blame for the rest of his signings which are either shite, unproven shite, complete failures, or old "experienced" yet still to prove they are near good enough for us Reynolds (loan) being the only other that deserves credit.

 

Yes Brown still has a hell of a lot to prove as far as GOOD, let alone great signings go, so he'd better get it right this time around & EARLY doors.

Never renewed my season ticket a few seasons back and tbh i'm glad i didn't, especially as i get cut-price tickets through my work (still went to all bar 2 home games this season). However as i'm in a new role at work i'll not manage to go to as many games now

Good to see no increase in the South Stand, it would be a disgrace if prices were increased for the shite served up. Shame for a lot of us we have to wait to hear what will happen with the Newco before we even consider renewing, even then there is Brown's summer signing campaign to consider

The very least we HAVE to sign to just become an average team would be TWO creative wide mids. one real FB (at very least) TWO decent strikers & possible even a good replacement for Arnason in the middle cos losing both Fyvie & Arnason is going to leave us short there also & Rae Huges & Clark are certainly not great replacements there.

The youngsters can be in the squad to nip at the heels of our proper signings

Football in this country is massively overpriced.

Compare it to the prices of the far superior Bundesliga for example.

Laughable.

Factor in the dire entertainment offered by the current Aberdeen team (mainly due to the managers approach to be fair to the players) and I can't see me bothering with one this year.

Know what you mean...looking at the pricing for the tickets I think the penny has finally dropped that AFC can no longer take the fans for granted...Broon is drinking in the last chance saloon and is looking down the barrel of abject failure in his last appointment...I'm hoping that something kicks in and he finally gets his act together...
