vanderark14
really? rewarding others for someone elses efforts, is the way you think life should work? sick and here we go, classic afc chat technique try and divert the proper argument, by highlighting a speck of a previous argument i put forth EDIT - not going to waste my time with a retard like you. tup
Spartak are in total disarray. Benfica sold their two best players a week before it all started. Barcelona were missing a whole defence when they met Celtic. With all of these things combined, Celtic were simply lucky, and could hardly fail to qualify under the circumstances. They'll get thrashed in the next round. 1 Link to comment

Henry
It was a decent achievment by them. I don't like them, but fair play. Certainly more decent than your attempt at spelling achievement there. 2 Link to comment
tup
It was a decent achievment by them. I don't like them, but fair play. I think, sub-consciously, you do like them. You are brainwashed by your surroundings in the same way as Millertime. There is nothing 'fair play' about it. If Celtic believed in fair play, they would not have screwed us over financially for the last 20 odd years. Fair play my arse. I'm gutted they got through. 1 Link to comment

Sonoftherock
Haha so?? They have a 60,000 seater ground. They built it. They are a big club and will earn more money than us. If we had 40,000 every week we'd also have more money. We can't even muster 15,000 every week. Just because of that, doesn't mean we should get the begging bowl out. We have more than sufficient resources ourselves to earn good money, we've just been mismanaged for years. Get our own house in order and we could run a very successful football club. It's like Man United having 75,000 every week. They'll take in much more than Liverpool (40,000). I doubt they'll whinge that, uch they're creaming enough off their gate, we deserve some of their Champions League money! Edit: Fair enough the league taking a cut to distribute amongst member clubs, seen as without theleague Celtic would be nowhere, but anything on top of that is theirs to keep surely. Exactly. Dynamo
Aye Bayern would thump them in the Allianz. Great city though, which I guess is all the Tims are interested in at this stage. Link to comment
DannyBhoy
Last two posts sum it up, we know we'll get horsed, but the Allianz Arena looks something else! 1 Link to comment
stand_free
boosts the coifficient meaning we will have more chance in getting in to europe in the future Celtic could win every game on their way to winning the Champion's League and Scotland still wouldn't move up the coefficient table as our performances have been so shit for the 4 previous seasons. fine-n-dandy
Aye so they can now easily afford to snatch Fraser, Griffith, Russel etc. just to weaken their rivals further now. Jan will be fun for them for taking the piss out of the rest of the SPL Link to comment

wee jock poo-pong mcplop
What with the years of getting huckled out of Europe at the first attempt and blaming Scottish football for not giving them enough of a challenge and them only having 4 games a season ect. Will the beantooth mumbler thank all the spl teams for their part in his teams success this year? Link to comment
Dandyesque
wasnt too long ago we had a manager capable of getting us there We've not been in the last 16 of the European Cup or CL since 1985. So you're right, its only been 27 years. Link to comment
chaos_defrost
Celtic will have a slim chance of going through whoever they play. Every game they've played this season outside the Champions league games they've viewed as meaningless and the Champions League games are the only games they play infront of a crowd exceeding 15k so they'll raise their game 10x for this sort of fixture. They'll need to get very lucky like they did in the group stages or get a terrible refereeing decision in their favour like they did against Spartak Moscow. I think their luck will run out.
