A food has a high salt content if it contains more than 1.5g (1.5%) of salt (or 0.6g of sodium) per 100g.

 

 

A food has a high sugar content if it contains more than 15g of sugar per 100g (or 15%).

 

 

A food has a high fat content if it contains more than 20g of total fat per 100g (20%).

 

 

 

 

These figures could be found on all front-of-pack labelling soon.

Good. Always check the content of food and drink regarding fat, sugar and salt anyway.

 

If it doesn't have that displayed I wouldn't buy it.
