Changes Afoot At Suit Level

Recommended Posts

The point has to be that Fraser was a failed appointment by Milne, another one. Milne couldn't pick his own arse.

Agree with that...although Foster 14 reckons this boy has a sound football background...can't be anything worse than what is already in place...unless he's a fu*king Weegie of course

I think we all knew AFC were voting no, it wasn't because "you said" it a few weeks ago.

No, I didn't say anything of the sort 4 weeks ago. I said, 4 weeks ago Aberdeen were only considering voting one way, and that was not no. Hence, keep up the good lobbying work.

PS you used the word Dominion earlier in the thread instead of Domain. - Freudian slip which gave it away.

More a hint.

Fuck it. George Yule.

As I already said. 4 weeks ago, there was only going to be one way we voted on a Newco. All I will say is keep up the lobbying work...

If its the Dominion Gas guy then I can see why Milne is interested and also why he'd be interested in joining.

His office is meant to be a bit of an AFC/Aberdeen City shrine and it was him that commissioned the oil paintings of the 1983 team that you could get prints of in that art shop on Little John Street.

If it happens then could be good, if not, don't worry fozzy, I won't blame you ;)

Safe I assume Fraser is carrying the can for footballing booboos like the Hayes fiasco?

Leave him to concentrate on bean counting and stadium delivery while we appoint a player recruiting expert, like a poor mans Frank Aranason.

Makes sense, look forwarding to finding out who this bloke is, hope he's not a bumbling Englishman like Regan or Doncaster.

Nonsense. Regan is far from bumbling.

Doncaster is a fud of course.

If people can't tell the difference or can't be bothered differentiating between complete incompetents and someone doing a tough job with a fair degree of success then we have another 100 years of complete cunts running our game to look forward to when Regan realises his efforts are wasted and the SFA can revert right back to be a Ranger run organisation of petty old men again.

Ok, glad I dragged it out of you.

Interesting CV but in what role would he be?

Aberdeen based oilfield service specializing in magnetic separation technologies for the offshore drilling industry. ROMAR is on a course of global expansion and George

Missing off of that is he is the father of Steven Yule, an integral part of the first ever Aberdeen juvenile side to win a Scottish Cup, when Mill United were defeated 2-1 by Deeside Villa at a poky grun in Wishaw in 1986.

Incidentally, I scored the winner.

Thats good enough for me. Sign the cunt up.

New Chief Exec, good business reputation and has had involvement in football throughout his life. Don't know much more about the new guy other than that, certainly wasn't a name well known to me beforehand but think he would be known by many.

Duncan Fraser will still be there, but in some other role. Not sure what role, and not sure what that means from a total directors' remuneration perspective (more spending on non-football wages?).

I think that is the extent of the reshuffle. Given that they reshuffled the rest last year, would be a bit early to be giving up on that already.

So if this is the case, then we're creating yet another suit job to an already over inflated number of suit jobs?

Aberdeen fc seem to think they are FIFA/UEFA or something. Fuck the game let's just create jobs for boys at whatever cost to the club & the spectacle on the park.

Hope Fraser's replacement has good ideas & is ONLY concerned with the product on the park but do we really need another suit?

It's been posted on another site that this guy is not Fraser's replacement but his number 2...i.e a number 2 for a number 2...Has Hayes signed yet?

Do you want a go of mine or are you happy enough with your own for the time being? ;)

Yup - said this a while back in Hun thread - we were actually at forefront and pushing for yes vote - with "penalties" for newco.

Things might have changed of course and heard nothing since.

Edit: But definitely agree to not say too much on here. Expect about 100 PMs now!!
