Red Loon
Watching Milne squirm his way through this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-18518459 Just leads me to believe that he is setting it up to vote yes to Newco And thats the very end of AFC as far as I am concerned Link to comment
RUL
Interview is fucking terrible, can we not appoint someone who's role it is to represent the club in interviews? Link to comment
Ke1t
Interview is fucking terrible, can we not appoint someone who's role it is to represent the club in interviews? Well, technically we did... Willie Miller. Only problem with that was any time Willie was on telly their switchboard was jammed by folk trying to get their money back aff him, so the message was often lost. Personally I reckon all interviews should be done by a hand-puppet. It'll be exactly the same as Willie, only cheaper and more transparently honest. Link to comment
StevieT1986
The fact that the season ticket prices are still priced at the early bird prices shows the club is starting to feel it Link to comment

a don in oz
Milne is by far the largest shareholder is he not? Holding way more than 50% so he doesn't need anyone else to be able to decide the club's vote. So whether the others were sympathetic or otherwise is irrelevant to how the 'club' will vote. oilcat
Willie was and always will be a hero of mine, met him a few times and he has always taken time out to chat to fans etc, as a manager some of the football we played back then was sensational........but..... Maybe Milne thinks that voting no with Willie on the board would be ironic, considering Willies business history Link to comment
Site Sponsor RTYD Posted June 21, 2012 Site Sponsor Share Posted June 21, 2012 Milne has made a bucketload of bad decisions in his time at the club. If he is planning to vote "yes" to the Newco then it will be the mistake of his life and the club will ultimately fold in my view. The view of the Portugese jury. Feckin hot here, S'later. Dynamo
Happy with you saying this A hoor of a lot of hysteria around at the moment sadly. Nae really. Just a discussion. Makes a change discussing our own club. 2 Link to comment
steems
Willie Miller was a legend as a captain and a player.Club could not really afford to pay him a fairly big wage these days, as he was a luxury. That's Milne taken on and shafted the AFC Trust. I suspect the board changes have more to do with sh!t season ticket sales than anything outwith the club.Hope Yule and co do well but why anyone would have faith in anything Milne has ever decided thats best for the club is baffling. One question for Yule - do you think the Sports Village would be so good based outside the city in the middle of no place? Link to comment
tommo1903
T-shirts for our next cup win (if T-shirts are still around then) would be a good idea as well Link to comment
