Wouldnt say it's a limitation of the system. Spain's passing and ball retention has been immense. It hasn't been open expansive wonderful to watch football but I can't see them being beaten.

I don't know the full details, but judging from the comments, it's strongly biased towards passes attempted, completed and received. That is a clear limitation... unless you happen to be Arsene Wenger. Football isn't all about a Barcelona-type passing game.

Pro zone is a wonderful thing, can tell you so much about a team and a player, interesting team like, thought the left back from Portugal might have been in it, he's been superb as has Pepe.
