Scottish Communities Cup 3rd Round Draw

Recommended Posts

Notice AFC is also running a bus for £18, I know transport is transport but is the AFC bus ok, or really boring compared to going down with a supporters bus like Granite City Reds?

lol i should really say the Aberdeen bus is a joke/nightmare/disaster and you should come down with the Granite City :sheepdance:

Aberdeen bus is ok been on it a few times, although they treat it like to get to the game in time while the supporters clubs treat it like a day out and have a few drinks hence why they leave earlier than the clubs bus although midweek sometimes not much of a time difference. One thing i don't like from the AFC bus is they stop off at Stirling Services for 20-30 mins and there is nowhere to have a drink, but each to their own.

And are we seeded now considering Killie (who finished above us) are out?

We would've been anyway.

We finished 9th.

Old Rangers are now 3rd Division so everyone moves up a seeding, so at worst we would be seeded 8th of 8.

The draw is usually a seeded team drawn at home in first tie, unseeded in second tie, seeded for 3rd tie etc etc.

Seeds should be Celtic, Dundee Utd, Hearts Motherwell, St Johnstone, St Mirren, Aberdeen, Inverness (they still in?)

Just read Hibs and Ross County match reports and they both made big changes to the team from the weekend for their respective matches.

Ross County made wholseale changes, Hibs didn't, they rested McPake but looking at their line ups between that game and St Johnstone, the only other difference is Kuqi started up front rather than Doyle, who came on as a sub later on.and Maybury and Wotherspoon started the St J match but came on as subs last night. Enough to affect the team, but very different to County who had 9 players not playing who had played against Dundee.

Agree with the sentiment though that we sholdn't be resting players in the next round, whoever it is.

4 changes to a team that won at the weekend I'd say is a wholesale change.
