Sandafc
Sacked before too much longer if things continue the way there going. Hopeless manager. What since we didnt win today?? I do think he should have started Pawlett or Fraser instead of playing all of Jack, Rae & Hughes. Link to comment

Sandafc
Nope since forever. Every club he's been at, not just AFC. We should have won today but each of his signings have been very good this summer and we now have a very good squad. Still think we will have a decent season. Link to comment
Ke1t
He's not doing particularly well, is he? 1st season 9th. 2nd season 9th. Currently 9th. Cup finals, nil. Crowds, declining. Football... not great. He'll be gone at the end of the season, I'm sure. Then we'll get in someone who's useless/a cunt/a drunk/an idiot.... or maybe the board will find some new and exciting personality flaw to have us going on with. Personally I'd like to see Brown's successor to have Multiple Personality Disorder... that gives us a chance that at least one of his personas is a capable manager. Link to comment

Still think we will have a decent season. See under Calderwood... just because we have made decent signings (and we have, no question) does not mean that the manager will have the nous to get them playing together. We shoud really be sitting on 4 points by now. Can't really blame Broon for last week when Jamie 'the cat' Langfield sold the jerseys, but we can certainly blame Broon for this week. Tedium setting in already is not a good sign. Link to comment

Foster14
The first half is one of the most ridiculous formations yet. A 4-4-2 with 3 central midfielders and a left winger playing on the right Wong. No balance at all, with Naysmith constantly having no outlet. Link to comment

He should have played Pawlett or Fraser from the start but Hayes played right wing for ICT too so why is he a left winger? He can play either side. Link to comment
lazio_don
Its 2 games... Bloody hell. Yes but Craig Brown is still our manager, and with him incharge we are going nowhere fast. Tactically he makes Craig Levein look like Rinus Michels circa 1972. 1 1 Link to comment

rdsred
each of his signings have been very good this summer and we now have a very good squad. Who has ? Hayes has been rank this summer except against Arbroath. McGinn not much better so hardly a great start to their careers. Thought that today when Jack went central he was the best player on the park and he still gets hooked !! Long ball shite started again this season, long haul playing that way and when are they going to wake up to how pish it is with Langfield just punting it up the park and making it an easy day for Munro, etc. against a strike force who can't win a ball in the air, until Meggennis came on !! ChutneyLove
Don't know if we can blame Craig Brown fully for the result today. Dominated a game and were unfortunate not to have scored. Had any of the chances gone in it would have forced County to respond, which would have opened them up. The Dons have played much worse and won. At the same time, clinical finishing doesn't exist at Pittodrie. Link to comment
Sandafc
Wrong! It's two seasons and counting. Bloody hell... Where did I say I was delighted he was manager? I said give him a chance this season with a new squad not just 2 games. Link to comment

I was speaking about who he signed not the performances. Wow lets judge the two players after 2 games of the league. Quality. I thought Hayes wasnt bad today put in a lot of decent crosses that no one went for. Link to comment

Ive already said in this thread he wasnt as positive as he should have been today, but his signings on paper have been good, just think the team needs longer to bed in than 2 games. Still goes without saying id have hoped we won today. Link to comment

I thought Hayes wasnt bad today put in a lot of decent crosses that no one went for. I never said I was judging them just stating a fact they have been gash all preseason. Unfortunately, with limited budgets and creativity it's getting less & less that players can have time to bed in, they have to hit the ground running and dominate in games and not hide, which both these players did today.Jack played well as did Fraser when he came on but these are two young loons when their apparently more experienced and so called skilful teammates are not stepping up to the plate. Yes after 2 games, I know it's crazy but if the LSC win tomorrow then we are 5 points behind them already. And let's not make no bones about it, Hearts & United will beat this County team, week in / week out. Link to comment

Jack coming off was strange.Vernon needs someone to do the hard work near to him and i thoughtMagennis did very well.Ross County were a well organised outfit and many will struggle to break them down.Long ball pish and everyone back defending dead balls.Get it sorted Brown or you will again drive the support away. buchanskii
I still get scared every time Langfield is involved.. Our back 4 were very good I feel, Russell Anderson and Osbourne in particular played very well. Jack was having a superb game I feel, the rest (Hayes, McGinn, Hughes, Rae and Vernon), were meh. Magennis, although I'm not his biggest fan, was effective when he came on and Ryan Fraser has made a case for himself to start the next game. We played well, and should really be winning games that we have that much possesion in. Link to comment
Sandafc
I totally understand the Rae & Hughes partnership in games like last week but games at home when we should be winning put Milsom in and play 2 wide players and have a go at them. We have a good squad now but how we do this year, still depends how negative Brown will be. Link to comment
Geoff_Tipps
I personally thought we played pretty well, just unfortunate not to have scored, on another day we could have scored a few. I think its harsh to blame Brown for todays performance as his signings were certainly the pick of the bunch. Very impressed with Hughes, Osbourne, Naysmith and Anderson. Poorest was Vernon Link to comment

Stoney
Leaving milsom on the bench was an awful decision. Jack was poor today. Pawlett did feck all. We looked a lot better when fraser and magennis came on. Osbourne had a fews good runs but left us exposed at the back. Thought the front three were terrible and wasted any good chbance we did have. Failing to beat ross county at home is unacceptable Link to comment

Vernon has got to be dropped for next week as much of a shame as it is. Link to comment
