NorthernLights24
Disappointing news regarding Naysmith but I see from Twitter that Clark Robertson will be playing tomorrow for the U20s. Link to comment
Peterheid Loon
Third game of the season and we have a hamstring injury. How many was it last year, seven or eight? Wish i could say i'm shocked but i'm not. Watch the hamstring injury count go up throughout the season again.............. 1 1 Link to comment

baconman
Mmm perhaps questions need to be asked of warm up and down routines before training and games. Ok injuries occur from poor tackles etc but pulled / strained muscles can be avoided or at least minimised when its done properly. Link to comment

I really wish i could say what i know but have to be professional about things. All i'll say is it's a lot more than warm up/down routines they need to ask questions of. 1 1 Link to comment
sheepiekev
Oot for 6 weeks cuntage Confirmed as 6 weeks? Depends if it's a tear or a strainBroon quoted as saying "a game or two" earlier. They'll shunt Considine over there and play Anderson alongside Reynolds. Pity cos Considine is a nightmare at LB. OddJob
FFS!! I could tell straight away it was his hamstring and thought "oh no". Here's hoping he can recover as quickly but at the same time fully as possible Link to comment

Facilities/methods I don't know but should be looked at. Link to comment

I think most would accept a bad tackle or fall as part of the game but when players start missing games due to pulled hamstrings at this stage of the season when the weather and pitch conditions are at its best things like stretching, warming up and down, training etc have to be questioned.....................................? Its not like we have a dearth of talent to fall back on and it would be nice if our first choice could remain injury free for at least for first 11 games. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
The club basically admitted (they could hardly hide it) that there was obvious problems somewhere, that was causing us so many hamstring injuries but it seems they either have not figured out the problem, or have & have basically done fuck all to correct it. For a top flight club, we are shockig in this respect. That's two players that were massive in what looked like a team finally starting to take shape gone & we're only four fucking games in Emergency funds should be sourced to sort us out & keep this attacking form going before we lapse back into Brown's (fall back dire bullshit) defensive tactics & start running up countless draws again, whilst all the other clubs that will be aiming for second put distance between us. SICK OF FUCKING DRAWS AS WELL & they always seem to have a bad habit of mounting up with Brown at the helm of a club. Link to comment

mightystu
I'm not a fitness specialist but surely training at state of the art facilities such as Seaton park and the barracks might have something to do with the hamstring problem. Link to comment
