Tord31
Please don't play a centre half at left back. Please do play 4-4-2. And they better win. Link to comment

Foster14
How long is Naysmith out for now? Anyway, not looking forward to this much. Traffic Cone Osbourne Anderson Reynolds Considine Hayes Rae Jack Fraser Magennis McGinn Same team as you, but I see it more as a 4-2-3-1, where McGinn, Hayes and Fraser can interchange a bit (or at least Hayes and McGinn). Nae certain who I'd have in midfield out of Jack and Osbourne. If Dunfermline were to be out numbering us in central midfield, I'd probably go with Osbourne before Jack. I'll be shocked if that is actually the team though. Think if Osbourne comes back in, it will be in place of Jack and can't see him ever going with a front 4 to start off a game ever. Link to comment
Karl Fletcher
Have a bad feeling about this one, I'd be a bit more confident if it was at home as Dunfermline have had a decent start to the season. Don't think Josh deserves to be dropped so would like us to line up: Clangers Josher--Anderson--Reynolds--Robertson Hayes--Ozzie--Jack--Fraser McGinn--Smith However we are likely to play McGinn up front on his own and have at least one of Rae and Hughes in the middle instead of Osbourne/Jack. We better fucking win. Link to comment

Karl Fletcher
Maybe not, but imo there is no harm in giving Rae a rest before Saturday's game. Irrelevent however as Rae will definitely play. Link to comment

Site Sponsor Dom Sullivan Posted September 24, 2012 Site Sponsor Share Posted September 24, 2012 I reckon Broon will fuck about with the team and introduce no hopers like Christina Clark merely because the Loon hasn't had a game for a few weeks. Feckin hope not but wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Link to comment
Karl Fletcher
It would be a disgrace if Clark starts. I'm sure even Brooner knows better than that after the East Fife game last season. Nothing less than our strongest XI for this one, please! Link to comment
Monkey
Dunfermline on a bit of a roll having scored 4 at the weekend means we need our strongest team on the pitch. Link to comment

I have no doubt its a difficult tie. Up until the Motherwell game we had played well and created chances without scoring in most games IMO. If we create chances against Dunfermline , with Mcginn in the team in place of Vernon I think we will click. This is just an opinion and we will soon know if I'm right or not. I just find it ironic that many posters who are constantly charging Brown with negativity are so negative themselves that they are running scared of Dunfermline! In terms of scraping through against Morton , why is that a negative? A lot of SPL teams went out to lower division sides that night. We didnt. Link to comment

I'm afraid with Brown in charge, our team will always be running scared. He's a negative manager, always has been, always will be. It's his attitude and the way he makes the team play that makes the fans negative. The frustrating thing is, with the right man in charge, we would be looking forward with a reasonable amount of confidence to the game, and be at the top end of the table. Link to comment

It's all subjective isnt it. A "massive" improvement means different things to different people. I agree the quality of players in the squad has improved and we have a much stronger squad now than when Brown first came in. The results havent been as good as they should been, however look how tight the SPL is this season so far, no team have won as many as they maybe "should" have. Motherwell are getting a lot of praise and looked good at times yesterday, however they are only 5 points ahead of us. Link to comment

Any away game us a worry now as away league record has been shocking. Just four wins away in league since start of last season and lack of goals scoring just 17 in 22 makes this game a huge worry. Also failed to beat rock Dunfermline there twice last season conceding six in 2 games. Play to full potential and we will stroll past Dunfermline but just doesn't seem to happen too often nowadays. At least we can't play for a draw in league cup. Link to comment

Motherwell were better than us on Sunday, and that's with us having shown improvement apparently. I'm resigned to us being where we are as long as the dinosaur is in charge. 1 Link to comment

But as said previously but conveniently ignored as usual if we play to full potential we will stroll the game. Link to comment
