super_al
Still can't believe Hibs are top.....they are not that good. 1 Link to comment
Tord31
great great result today well done to Craig Brown and the team. now lets get Naysmith, Milsom and Fallon fit for after the international break and we are well and truely looking good Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Just looked at the league table and I've been struck by vertigo! When was the last time we were as high as 3rd in the league? When was the last time we had a plus 3 goal difference or better? Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Still can't believe Hibs are top.....they are not that good. Just think how much we'd be flying if not for the unfortunate dropped 7 points v tims, County, St Midden & Hearts? Link to comment
boboisared
Dundee is a shitehole nah nah nah nah! Link to comment
Foster14
Absolutely dominated today after their jammy first. Second and third are both fantastically worked goals. Two yellows against Fraser again who caused no end of problems. Fantastic! Link to comment
The Boofon
When was the last time we had a plus 3 goal difference or better? Start of the season 2 years ago when we beat Hamilton 4-0 then St Johnstone 1-0. 1 Link to comment
Sonoftherock
Still can't believe Hibs are top.....they are not that good. There isn't much quality going around in the SPL right now. It's all about who's is prepared to go out and try to win games. Hibs are pathetic at the back, but they're committing men forward in numbers and have a few dangerous attackers. If we had Leigh Griffiths, we'd be clear in first place at this moment in time. FACT. Link to comment
Poodler
Hibs though, wtf?! 8th place is only a win behind us so lets not get too excited Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Start of the season 2 years ago when we beat Hamilton 4-0 then St Johnstone 1-0. Oh yeah the three pen game Link to comment
afc_blockhead
Superb result and another good performance. Well done Brooner, justifying the faith most of our support have had in you from the start. 1 1 Link to comment
The Boofon
Oh yeah the three pen game Close with your prediction F&D. I had it spot on in reverse. 1 Link to comment
Dandie1992
Let them celebrate tonight and recover tomorrow. But it's time to get the boys sat down on Monday and told to look at the table 1/4 of the way through the season, and look what they dragged themselves forward kicking and screaming towards. And ask them, are you ready to make a season to remember? Because our fans are. 1 Link to comment
360
More importantly, what hair style was Considine sporting today? Link to comment
fifered
A goal for rae and up to third, some folk on here will be spewing! Finally getting the results our performances merit. Long may it continue. Link to comment
King Street Loon
Very good win today.Very good indeed. Link to comment
SkyeDon
Brilliant result! Don't want to get too carried away but going into the international break on the back of two great wins should be a massive boost. We have a solid team now with the right blend of experience and youth/flare. We all got excited during the summer when McGinn and Hayes signed and became a bit dejected after a number of draws but it seems to be coming together. With the likes of Anderson, Rae, Reynolds, Hughes and Naysmith providing experience it gives us a great base to play from. All very cliche, but it all counts. Keep it going Dons, well done Broon! 1 Link to comment
Tord31
also if your in a forgiving mood we were without McGinn for a host of those games and can see he is making a difference. 3 goals and 2 assists in last four since he returned. Get him fully fit and we should be looking even better Link to comment
Boras83
Scoring goals since Jocky Scott returned to the coaching team. Shouldn't be surprised. Link to comment
RUL
It's brilliant to see us in 3rd, think we will romp 2nd Link to comment

Griffiths aint a bad player but we should be clear in first anyway. We should have won at least 2 of the games that finished 0 - 0 at home Link to comment
WillemVan
Well done Aberdeen! Great result and from what I heard a great performance. We're going to need 3 of the stands at Tannadice now. Link to comment
SkyeDon
True. Also, we've been without Naysmith for a while now. Link to comment
super_al
I would have thought we would bring a massive support to Dundee United now. 5,500 dandies. COYR Link to comment
Sheep#1
Scoring goals since Jocky Scott returned to the coaching team. Shouldn't be surprised. Teckle! Great performance the day, especially in the second half. Fraser is quality and it's a good sign when a decent player like Hayes is sitting on the bench. Creating plenty and finally finishing them off. Mcginns goal was excellent. Link to comment
Crossbow
Just in - brilliant performance by the team with Fraser playing a blinder. Clangers even saved a shot at his near post. Standing ovation at the end well deserved - one or two shooglie moments (and Russell needs to work on distribution) - but I haven't been as proud to be a dandy for a long, long time. Go home you huns ringing out was sweet music. Well done - now go and do it again and again. Link to comment
spamspamspam
The way we've played so far is extremely encouraging, hammered a couple of teams 0-0 and now we're starting to win games playing good football. If we keep this form up we'll be playing Celtic at home to go top next month Link to comment
Eastcoastdon
Superb result. Lot of folk saying we could've been miles ahead in league if we took care of those 0-0 games, but would the players have gone on and won last few games or would they've been thinking about just turning up if they won they other 0-0 games and come crashing down with a thumping. Look at Utd, they were tipped at start after few games to take Celtic all the way. This seems to have gone to their heads I think they 3 x 0-0 draws worked out for the better for us Link to comment
Eastcoastdon
Also agree about tannadice....what a bounce in prospect!! Think ESPN and sky have missed out badly on a cracking live TV game but all the better for us that its a saturday 3pm kick off!! Link to comment
Dynamo
Bring on the Arabs. 3pm on a Saturday. Red Army. Link to comment
