RDS
Reminds me of a song as the Rangers are hoping for investment from the 49ers whilst the fans really want rid of their darling Clement(ine) 🪙⛏️ Link to comment

Helmet
2 hours ago, RDS said: Daily Ranger linking them to a takeover by 49ers Group who own Leeds and San Francisco 49ers. Might waken up our own Atlanta Falcon owning minority shareholders to start an NFL battle in the Premiership Them getting vast amounts of cash to trigger another arms race with Celtic would be the absolute pitts and the end of Scottish football altogether. Sad because the same sort of over investment in Aberdeen or Hibs or Hearts would inject more competition and far more interest and actually invigorate our league. Maybe even drive up the TV deals. 1 Link to comment

Would help them tremendously in domestic sense with no financial fair play here but they'd be hamstrung in Europe Link to comment

JamieMT
An evening of Soggy Biscuit down the Daily Record office if their website's anything to go by. Multiple Hun aroused reporters wanking themselves dry at the prospect of a takeover. 1 Link to comment
Hoofball
Are the huns trying to hide something, 18 million turned into shares this morning and less than 24hrs later the press have a story about a multi million pound investment Link to comment
RDS
1 hour ago, Hoofball said: Are the huns trying to hide something, 18 million turned into shares this morning and less than 24hrs later the press have a story about a multi million pound investment Shares were issued during a spell between 20th December and 23rd January. Could be linked but 49ers would need other existing shareholders to sell substantially more existing shares to them (earning club zero) to gain a controlling interest with over 505 million of those share issued. 18m (if even related and not another director loan for equity swap) would give 49ers a 0.004% holding Link to comment
RDS
So Sportsology Group have been or are still carrying out an internal review on behalf of Rangers and they happen to also do some work for San Francisco 49ers. Now someone is linking 49ers investment arm to a takeover of Sevco and if true could already know some dodgily acquired confidential information as to how cheap a deal they could get if directors fed up pumping in soft loans Link to comment

They regularly issue shares to directors they owe money. Link to comment
Helmet
The funniest thing is every time they issue these shares they absolutely fuck over the fans groups who took so much money off the fans to try and maintain some influence at the club. Fan investment in Sevco is basically a Ponzi scheme. 3 Link to comment

Daydream Believer
I wouldn’t read too much into the “ mull yins byraway” It’s a headline designed to inject a feel good factor into their dumbo fan base. I think they’ve finally learned that you can’t go on spending money you don’t have but it’ll be years before they’re free of debt. Link to comment

Helmet
Tragic that our media would even report something like this as a good thing - it would be more like a doomsday scenario for Scottish football to be locked into another 40 years of tiresome “old firm” battles. But the media would wank themselves into a frenzy of course. Link to comment
Big Hat Logan
As unlikely as this is if they did get significant investment we might as well forget about anyone winning anything again domestically for a very long time. However I can’t see anyone with any business sense investing in them, there’s fuck all money in the domestic game to make it worthwhile and the FFP rules for Europe would surely stop them making any real progress there. Plus there’s the sectarianism and racism. Link to comment
