The gap between the two leagues is huge which Hearts will find unless they massively improve their squad. We have another season to consolidate our position before the Orcs are back. Haw haw! Of course, they have it all arse-for-tit, as the board will not be sanctioning signings etc until they know how many STs they have sold. One actually said on the Orc forum they need a “souness type signing”. They paid a significant sum of money to a Serie A team (sampdoria) for Souness, who was a player proven at European level (played in England and Italy) and was captain of his national team, having won many caps. That such a calibre signing is even being mentioned in their current circumstances shows how utterly deluded they are. They are more likely to have Stephen Hawking as play-maker, but only if he agrees to play for free. Another was insisting they will sell 35k season tickets, (v optimistic to say the least), but many are saying they will not renew and just pick and choose games. I expect a summer of hilarious news fed to us in a drip-drip style; though one down side of them being thrown off the stock exchange is that they can cover up a lot of dark secrets - even if only temporarily. They have got to build a competitive side on a championship budget, bearing in mind they are hamstrung with existing debts and bills, such as: (i) the rent of ibroke and murray park (278k per month = £3.3m a year) - thought to be already in arrears for this season(ii) the dynamic duo, mccoist and mcdowall, due wages till dec 2015 and jan 2016 respectively (prob worth 0.5m combined)(iii) llambias and leech are still on the books - and their wages are also though to be in arrears already(iv) owe at least £6.5m in loans, likely more; BBC previously announced a second 1.5m loan from 3 bears then changed to saying it was from king and unclear if a loan or not(v) can bet your bottom dollar there are a whole host of unpublicised bills from suppliers etc outstanding Is Mccalls temp contract now up? Just thinking that given they are already paying for 3 managers (inc mccall) it might be hard to offer a 4th manager a deal. Not unless Hawking can be a player-manager, again for free. Tickers are their only major revenue stream. Sports Direct has merchandise sown up. No chance of a share issue, as not on stock exchange. The messiahs have only put in small loans thus far, not the gifts of mega-millions promised during the emotional churchillian speeches we were treated to in the press. And when is the new EGM meeting taking place, (which Ashley called for in early/mid may), to demand his £5m back and ask for explanations re the stock exchange debacle? Link to comment

If they want to sell 35,000 ST's then they need someone that will get them excited. However, I think they're meaning more Vuckic or someone of that ilk.
