Absolute fucking disgrace if you ask me. You need a brass ring to head up the BBC - I kent he wasn't up to it from day one. Say what you like about Mark Thomson, but at least he had the bollocks to actually steer the ship when the waters got choppy.

 

There's no such things as responsibility in public life anymore. If shit goes wrong, it precipitates a resignation and as far as the external observer is concerned the underlying causality of the problem dies with the person who leaves. I wonder which cheese eating surrender monkey is being lined up to take control. He'll nae doubt be collecting a pension that could choke a donkey as well.
