I despised seeing Hearts qualify against us for the champions league and that was in place of Oldco. I don't think I would be dancing about if it was against us that someone else won the league. What would be absolutely tremendous would be a game at Pittodrie to see who wins the league. Can you imagine the atmosphere. Like Copenhagen but 100x more meaningful!

If we had nothing to play for, and deliberately throwing a game would see a non-Filth team winning the league, then I'd probably be willing to sacrifice morals for the greater good.

I hate all other teams equally. I had specific hate for the huns, mainly their fans - but as a team I hated them as much as I hate Partick Thistle, Hibs, Dunfermline, Forfar, Queen of the South, St Johnstone - any of them. If Aberdeen aren't going to win something I don't want anyone to win it. I also stop showing any interest in it. Self centred and narrow minded I know - that's what makes me the Aberdonian I am.

I want Aberdeen to win every game they play - I'd want us to win the league - then it doesn't really matter too much - if some other team fails because we beat them then that's their bad luck - we can remind them when we play them for the next few seasons - if they beat us fair and square and the infirm don't win the league then that might in the bigger picture be a good thing - but throw a game - nah - don't cheat - it demeans us - and it would rightly be thrown back in our faces by every football fan out there.

 

Anyhow - just keep winning - that's all we need to do.
