No need at all to get personal with a legend of our club. By all means criticise his coaching ability but no need for the abuse.

I severely doubt Leighton's ability as a coach or having an eye for a keeper.

Reading between the lines, Craig Brown will lean quite heavily on Leighton for advice on the goalkeeping front.

And Craig Brown is not the type to take kindly to players talking out of turn about not being in the first team (as Jason Brown did on international duty).

Truth be told, both our keepers are not dependable.

The last dependable keeper we had was Peter Kjaer.

I would be very surprised to see anyone other than Clangers in goal on the 19th January

Given the situation of both keepers we've got I suggest a decent sport psychologist would have benefitted both umpteen times more than Leighton's coaching and be a better use of the wage.
