EVER!

Was thinking about this at work today, must admit it's an epic call, their back catalogue is just full of classics, I couldn't come to a decision so i'm putting it our there for you pop pickers.

Can we come to an agreement on the best Wham song ever.

I like these 2 ahead of many of them.

Btw Who'd have ever guessed old Georgie was gay! :dontknow:

Wham Rap...

Give a wham, give a bam, don't give a damn.

Crap, i've now got it stuck in my head. Thanks!

Ps. For the record, the bar staff in Club Tropicana do NOT think drinks are free, despite the fact "Doad sings aboot it, it must be true". Apparently, ahem. :poster_oops:

Is it still open?

Had some great nights there, brilliant place, casino and strippers next door as well, what more does a man want! :)

Was great in the 80's when it was Mr G's but was an affa place for fighting, was always some inter district thing going on, I liked a dance of an evening in them days but remember having it with Kincorth in there one evening with my boxy muckers, a waste of a night!

I'll pull you up there sir, Careless whisper was infact one of the first songs George ever wrote and was indeed a release for Wham, I believe he wrote it while still at school.

I have no idea how I know that but have read it somewhere.

Sorry pal, totally disagree, fair enough on your comments, but i dont ever recall it being released

as a Wham!Song, but i do remember being force fed the video on one of the first "video jukeboxes "

in pubs in Aberdeen,in the Old Swan Bar,now defunct in the vancinity of the side door of John Lewis

next the the post office, just up from "The Buttery" (AB Hutchison) on the corner.

I hate correcting people mate but see below, it is a contentious question that I've argued over in my works smoke shack many times but it is unequivocal, it was a Wham song so my friend Bluto was correct. I suggest you edit your earlier facepalm.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Careless_Whisper

"Careless Whisper" is a 1984 single by George Michael (credited to "Wham! featuring George Michael" in the US), released by Epic Records in the UK, Japan, and other countries; and by Columbia Records in North America. The song was George Michael's first solo single although he was still performing in Wham! at the time (the song is included on Wham!'s album Make It Big).
