Karl Fletcher
Would you accept him and welcome him as Manager of Aberdeen FC, yes or no? Link to comment
tup
No chance. English hun bastard who took the door off the hinges at Pittodrie not so long ago. As well as swinging from the crossbar in triumph. I hate the cunt. Link to comment
Redstar
Would you accept him and welcome him as Manager of Aberdeen FC, yes or no?I like Butcher...he's a hun with a grudge against the cu*ts...that said he's way too much of his own man to work for Milne... Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
I think I could just about accept him but he'd have his work cut out to get all fans on side. Would have to win the league at first attempt. 1 Link to comment
tup
This is the same sort of herd mentality that landed us McGhee, another mouthpiece with zero management skills. So what if he's picking away with Caley? His record as a manager is simply disgusting. I want him nowhere near Aberdeen and I'd actually question the sanity of anyone who thinks he is our best option in future. 1 Link to comment
Redstar
It's Calderwood syndrome...The GWT is such a hopeless cu*t folks start bandying about choices that would have them certified in normal times...the GWT has brought us to this Link to comment
tup
I think Aberdeen fans have forgotten what it is they are supposed to stand for. Butcher is the embodiment of everything I stand against as a Dons fan. Why not just go for Ian Durrant? Link to comment
Sonoftherock
I think he's improved as a manager, but it simply wouldn't work. An ex-Rangers captain as manager of Aberdeen wouldn't work. The fans would be down on him like a tonne of bricks if things went wrong. Link to comment
Henry
His record as a manager is simply disgusting. Agreed, six good months with Caley and suddenly he's the messiah. No from me. Link to comment

buchanskii
I quite like him, even though he is a HUN You can't question his winners mentality and he seems to come across well in interviews, doesn't mince his words. He'd also defend his own players to the hilt and not just roll over to injustice done by refereeing decisions. Most importantly he has got a Caley team that are good to watch! Nae taking every player back for a corner in the case of auld broon. Link to comment
tup
Karl has gone way down in my estimation for even suggesting this. Link to comment

Aye, for once in a blue moon. Every other year they have struggled, and been crap to watch. He capitalised on the hun demise to get the guts of this team and he got lucky. By no stretch of the imagination is he a good manager. Link to comment
Karl Fletcher
I'm not suggesting it at all. In fact, it'd be a 'No' from me. I'm actually warming to the idea of Kenny Shiels being our next Manager. At least he's actually won something and is a Dandy to boot. He's a cunt but he'd be our cunt. 1 Link to comment
tup
I hope you're fucking joking with that shite as well! Link to comment
Karl Fletcher
I'd certainly have Shiels over the recent suggestions of Butcher, Adams and Houston. Dons fan Link to comment
Redstar
Adams with as head coach is the answer Link to comment
tup
That's just bullshit, the man is a staunch hun, who was gutted when his beloved got vanquished. He now uses his son to wage farcical battles with the SFA as he blames them for the hun demise. He's a cretin and I'd actually stop supporting the Dons if they considered going down that route, ever. We need a person who understands AFC, not some hun cast-off. Link to comment
buchanskii
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the answer. Link to comment
tup
Derek Adams is the only candidate, and I trust the board at AFC share my canny judgement. Hell mend them if they choose any of these laughable bunch of trumpets. They will appoint Adams, of that I'm almost certain. Link to comment
tup
That's irrelevant, Ross County are a Highland league sized club punching way above their weight. Link to comment
spamspamspam
Adams is NOT the answer. Paolo Di Canio, Paolo Di Canio, Paolo Di Canio, Paolo Di Canio is though. But he wont come so I'd settle for, controversially, Craig Levein or Butcher. I'd doubt Butch would come either though, if he's turning down 6 figure contracts in England at the moment he aint coming here. While he obviously isnt money driven I'd say his plan is to take ITC as far up the league as poss and then go for a bigger job in England in the Champ with a club thats more likely to go up than down. I'd take Levein because of his club record, look what he did for Utd and Hearts. Link to comment
Redstar
Getting the AFC job would be the making of Adams...give him an experienced Head Coach in the shape of and he'd be solid...a couple of Aberdeen loons at the helm would work wonders...might stop signing hun has-beens as well...which would be nice. Bluto10
tups opinion is worth the sqr root of fuck all as he doesnt watch any football however with a yes no vote he has flukily got it right on this occasion. butch needs to do more to impress IMZo Link to comment
tup
Levein would be OK as a second option because he disna like the huns. 1 Link to comment
tup
I will not tell you again. Adams is NOT the answer. I'm not getting into all this personality crap that folk tend to look to when they go on about managers, I mean Paolo Di Canio ffs! Let's just stick to looking at managerial records. Adams is second to none in terms of clubs smaller than us within Scotland. It's absolute common sense. Link to comment
Karl Fletcher
If Adams came here, he'd get 100% backing from me however I just have a bad feeling about it. Can't put my finger on it. Link to comment

afc_blockhead
Don't understand the clamour for Adams at all. Ross County are a boring defensive team yet people expect that he would turn the dons in to an attacking winning side? Butcher is a poor manager who is having a jammy season. His win ratio at all the clubs he's managed is actually worse than Brown's currently is for Aberdeen! The only exception to that is ICT and that is down to this 1 lucky season. No thanks.
