Crossbow
Pretty horrible situation - maybe this is the kind of disaster we were to expect because the huns left the SPL. Oh, wait a minute that didn't make a difference - money is simply not distributed fairly and hasn't been for years. Whose to blame? Answers on a postcard. Link to comment

Oh fuck....I've had a horrible thought.....Jefferies leaves.....where could he end up?! Link to comment
sheepiekev
Part time football only answer I'm guessing? Aye, pick up a couple of hundred quid a week for training a couple of times a week, and try and get another job to fund the difference. You might end up better off actually. Link to comment

V for Vendetta
Weren't Dunfermline ran by the same mope who gave Rangers all their dodgy loans when he was at Bank of Scotland? Justice for another club tainted by huns if thats the case. Just wish Killie would choke next. Link to comment

vanderark14
quite sad to see that a select few people overspend and its the club and the fans that suffer. Link to comment
At The Border Guy
Pretty much every club who has been in the SPL has spent outwith their means, but Dunfermline were taking the piss at the start of the 2000s. However, I can see this happening to every SPL club outwith Glasgow over the next 10-20 years. Link to comment

He said his proudest moment in his time at Aberdeen was what he achieved with the youth development. Probably his biggest downfall was not relying on the younger players coming through! what, that they'd never be as good again? Nope the state that he left them in the only way was financial ruin and downwards, they were right. Same thing happened here! Link to comment

Yorkston controlled the cash. The gave the manager cash that they would never make back. The manager spends what he has been given. I don't care much for the JC love-ins but blaming a club's current financial woes on him is absurd. Link to comment

Would you say that if you were the chairman and you gave loadsamoney to a manager and the best signings you could get were Darren and Derek Young that the money was spent well? Link to comment
